Works great, easy to use
Once the know on my old sprinkler system monitor broke I need a replacement. This system is similar to what I had before and simple to use. It has been great for this non-techy single mom.

Get the data card so you can control this on your phone
I was reluctant to switch over from my old unit but this newer technology is really great to control this all on your phone. I recommend the data card that makes this possible.

Easy to program
Very happy. Easy to program and also easy to run a manual zone.Grew tired of another brand that was Bluetooth and it very often did not function because it said signal was lost.

A dissapointment on every level
Bought to replace my older Hunter XCore that worked great--until it didn't. I thought this new one would be an easy replacement for the old one. It wasn't. Had to grind out the hole for the sprinkler control wires because they've now made it smaller so a standard PVC does not fit. The wall mounting hole are also different. My old unit came with a book with very good installation instructions. This unit did not. It only came with one-page quick-how to use instructions. The pump start relay wire now gets hooked up to an "MV" --not the obvious "P" like my old unit and no explantion of what MV is-- since there was NO BOOK. The dial has a picture of a pump and you can turn this on or off. No explanation of what that thing does? I left it on. The Icing on the cake--after I got it all modified and installed the digital display came up with a "61"? It took me a minute to figure out that was supposed to be an "A1". They even screwed that up!! I'd send it back but I've done all the work to install it and I need a sprinkler control. What a piece of Garbage!!
