My wife makes her own tasty salad dressing from an oil and vinegar base. I love it. We ordered this to facilitate storing, mixing, and pouring it and this little guy works well. The mixing ball is useful to get oil & vinegar to suspend the solution prior to pouring (immediately) and the lid seals tight. You'll still need to wipe a drop or two off the spout after pouring. The whole top unscrews and can be dismantled for cleaning by sliding a built-in lever. It's important to lubricate the seal to the glass bottom because it can grab on so tightly it can be impossible to unscrew. I thought I was going to break the plastic top trying to break the death grip it had on the class vial when it was new.That being said, I like and recommend this salad dressing shaker. Easy to clean, mixes and pours great!

This is an excellent product that appears to be great quality too. Everything from the packaging to the product itself is well designed. I needed a larger salad dressing shaker and this works perfectly. Also pours nicely without dribbling so I'm super happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing.

We have had the glass version of this shaker for about 3 months and all 3 of the salad-eaters in the family have come to hate it. It over-pours dressing at every use, so the person ends up having to eat a salad that is swimming in dressing. And it leaks (drips down the side) after each use -- so that the cap and then the bottom become very greasy over time. The inner rubber seal on the inside of the cover fell out within the first month's use and, despite many efforts to re-insert it, it won't stay in. Despite the strong reviews, I would strongly advise against this product.

This is a nice solid clean design. The glass is the biggest feature that’s amazing about this product. All the other ones that I’ve been able to find have been plastic-based. Plus the pop open lid is really nice and tight and it’s really easy to pour. The mixing agitator inside is amazing especially if you are using an oil base dressing like the one I make. It’s a no-brainer if you make your own salad dressing!

The glass bottle is very sturdy. The lid has a great design for pouring dressing. But like all plastic, the lid does retain smells quite strongly. Unfortunately for me I made a strong garlic dressing in this bottle and no matter how many times I clean the lid, the smell lingers. Bleaching overnight gave some better results , but there’s still a lingering smell that’s just off putting. I haven’t used it again because it’s so difficult to clean.
