UPDATE (March 2023)- One power supply/AC adaptor went bad (of my 4 sets of lights), so I purchased another set, just to get a compatible replacement- The new "extension" light strips (meaning not the first strip, that has the button) look identical to the old ones, and connect and light up together- The first strip, with the button and which connects to the AC adaptor, looks different (I like the look of the older ones better) but works fine- THE NEW AC ADAPTER IS BLACK. The old ones were white, matching the strips themselves which were and still are white. It's not all bad, because the black AC adapter is much lower profile and sticks out less from the plug, BUT IT'S BLACK. It plugs into the old LED strip just fine.ORIGINAL (June 2022)These are a total win: if you're on the fence, buy them.- Nice and bright (I think in one of the questions it says 200 lumens per 20 inch light strip)- The 4000K strips are a nice white color- Installation is about as easy as it gets: peel the backing off the light strip and stick it up. It also comes with 6 or 8 little plastic clips which are also peel and stick to hold up the wire between the first light strip and the power outlet.- Multiple kits work off the same remote with no programming required (what I wanted, for three separate cabinets around the kitchen)- Comes with a few 3 inch and a few 5 inch connecting cables, so you can (1) connect light strips directly together, so no additional light between strips, or (2) connect the light strips with the cables in between to basically give you a longer total light emission length.- You CAN cut the strips, anywhere you see the three little copper pieces on the strips, to customize the total length. Two separate cabinets in my kitchen are both a little over 30 inches across: for those, I connected two light strips directly together and cut off about half of the second strip, to keep the brightness similar to my other, 8ft cabinet.We'll see how the adhesion of the tape holds up (I cleaned the cabinet before I installed the first long length of light strips, forgot about this when installing the two shorter lengths) but if I end up having to mess with that it will likely be my fault.FYI, I saw a few reviews talking about remote issues, specifically that their TV remote would mess with the lights. No issues with my LG Magic Remote (circa 2018), which is bluetooth and IR.

This product is really easy to install , great prices , and looks great!

First, the bad: The solder points on the main switch to the strip are really weak. I accidentally pulled them apart during the install, despite being as gentle as I could!Luckily my boyfriend knows how to solder, so we popped off the casing and he rejoined the points. I'm pretty sure the weak connection is the reason other reviewers report their lights blinking or not turning on. That's a bummer, so, be aware and definitely test the functionality before install.I highly recommend you PLAN OUT how you are placing everything before you start installing. The product listing shows you the lengths of all the strips and joints, so it should be pretty simple to figure out. I did not realize how everything joined at first (thought you chose your own break points) and so had to remove a couple rows of lights I had already stuck up.Luckily the seller includes a sheet of extra double stick tape so I was able to correct and re-stick with reinforcement. The instructions they include were helpful and had photos.Once I got it planned out installation was a breeze. The lights are awesome!! Dark kitchen is way brighter! I am so happy with the light temperature warmth and the brightness settings.I wish there was a color changing feature like many LED strips so we could have a cool vibe at parties, but that was not an option for the under cabinet kit.Even with the drawbacks, for the price I felt this was a great buy and am going to buy it again for the other side of my kitchen.

JUST INSTALLED THIS IN THE KITCHEN FOR MY AIRBNB . IT WAS EASE TO USE AND INSTALL LOOKS GREAT . IT IS VERY BRIGHT. I WOULD HAVE LOVED IF IT HAD MORE OF THOSE BEND CONNECTORS WHICH CAME IN HANDY .

Works great and the remote with the dimmer is a nice added bonus. I used these for under cabinet lighting in the kitchen and it totally transforms the space. The strip pieces attach nicely and are not even visible unless they're on. I also like that it plugs in and doesn't work off of a usb or motion sensor. Well worth the purchase.

I bought this to go on top of my cabinets in the soffit space.Apparently, the manufacturers didn't have the imagination to think it could be and might be used this way. While I have a handy outlet atop the cabinets and an accompanying switch, you'd think this would make it easy. But no. When I turn it on, it goes into pulsating mode that is really irritating. I mean, who even would want that as an option?! I have to climb up on the counter top to change it, because the remote is too directional and the signal doesn't reach the receiver. Very inconvenient. And again - who would even want a pulsating option, let alone have it as the default setting when turned on!? I gave this 3 stars because of it's ease of installation and brightness and because I apparently used it for an unintended purpose. Otherwise, I'd have given it 1 or 2 stars because of the default setting..

I needed a light that was small enough to run under the edge of my desktop to illuminate my keyboard and writing surface. This simple system worked exceedingly well. Easy to install; it took about 15 minutes. Adhesive was sufficient to hold it to the surface and it provides all the light that I need. Interestingly, you can even bend it so that you can run a double row of lights, which is what I did.
