BONA FIDE BEAUTY Czech Glass Files for Nails, 5-Pieces Manicure Glass Fingernail Files with Cases (Malibu Color Set)

I've had a single Bona Fide Beauty file from a few years ago and it's held up the same as the day I purchased it. I decided to buy this 5 pack -- just in case I misplaced the one file I had and they're all equally as effective as the first one I bought. They quickly grind down and shape the length of my nails but still leave the nail tips smooth. Its etched glass texture doesn't feel like I'm tugging on my nail bed as I run it across my nail tips, which is a bother with other types of nail files; plus running your fingertip across it is a smooth experience in itself as the texture is so fine.Also, I love the fact that it comes with cases for each one! The first one I ordered a few years ago only came with a plastic sleeve, so it never left my room -- but now I can carry a file wherever I go without a worry of it shattering in my bag. I gifted one to my sister and she's enjoying it as well.They were packed very well and came with instructions on how to care and clean the files. Thank you!

Um wow these are so pretty! I feel so fancy just using one. My nails are pretty hard and thick so cheaply nail files will be destroyed within the first use. Even my 4$ metal one is losing its coarse but this one was a breeze to use. Wish the tip came to a point to clean under nails but obviously that would make it more easily breakable. I for sure recommend something like this for salon or maybe at home acrylic nails.

Years ago I purchased some glass files. They were wonderful, much harder than fingernails and lasted until broken or lost. Then I found that many of the purchased glass file were made cheaply and the glass sand would rub off. So I read the reviews and looked carefully when purchasing these. The first two seemed to work fine and didn't ware down. However, I gave the third to my son and on the first day the glass sand started falling off. Better than the second set but not near as good as the originals.

I had originally ordered 1 of the Czech glass nail files. I really liked it . I saw that the 5-set and decided to buy these because I needed one in several places These are very nice and work well. I highly recommend purchasing these. They seem sturdy but I have only had these for a very short time and have only used a couple of times. They work well. I can't say to how long they will last or how durable they are so I only gave three stars for durability but will update when I have had these for at least six months. I do plan on ordering more to give as gifts, These came well-package in a box with bubble paper and the individual files were also individually wrapped in a plastic "sleeve." Purchasing the set was less expensive than purchasing one. Once you use these, you will not go back to Emory board nail files.Update: These do not have a lifetime warranty and the enclosed card states to file your nails over a towel or tabletop and can be chipped or break if dropped from a height , bumping it against a hard surface.

To purchase these in a value pack is the only way to go. I have one in my purse, one in my couch consul, one in my desk at work, in hubby's pick up. I gave one away and put one in my nail kit. The work wonderfully. I've gone all natural, given up acrylics after 7 years. These are a nail saver. I totally love them and feel they have given me the tool to get beautiful natural nails back. The colors are so pretty too.

Having watched Cristine / SimplyNailogical talk about the benefits of a glass file, I decided that I has going to try out a new way to take care of my snagging nails. She was so right in saying that a glass file is faster than a regular file. I know that the price may seem like a lot compared to regular nail files from the drugstore, etc, but there isn't a comparison when it comes to preventing those tearing nails. Loved that these all came with cases. I took one in the case, in it's little wrapper, in a plastic ziploc, then in my padded jewelry case in my checked bag from the US to Spain. through the international flight and the connecting domestic flight there and then even back home, the file survived! Also, I was pleased to see that the file was from the Czech Republic. To me that made sense as I buy Czech Fire Polished glass beads (which I love, the quality and colors are great) and know that they also make crystal-ware. So, anyone on the fence - take the plunge and know you are buying a quality product. I tried skimping out and buying a glass nail file at Marshalls, no comparison. That one was screechy, like nails on chalkboard. These are worth the money and you can definitely defray the cost with this 5 pack.

Rated 5 stars on all features except Longevity because we have only had them for 1 day-not enough to qualify any rating so left that one blank.Received the files well packaged and undamaged. They come with their own small case that seems sturdy so my wife does not worry about breaking the file if she puts one in her purse. She kept her favorite colors and has gifted the rest.

Don't waste your time buying other nail files. These are the BEST! I give them to all my friends, Men & Women, and they all rave about them. You won't be disappointed!!
