Lyric (2647408) Finch Wild Bird Mix, 20-lb bag

This is a great finch seed blend. At 20 lbs. for $43 it is expensive but less than other 20 lb. size finch blends. The finch flock to the feeder when I filled it with the Lyric Finch blend. I wish that there was a company that would make a blend as good as this with a $20-$25 price point for a 20 lb. bag. It may be time to look into buying the different seeds in bulk and getting it that way to avoid going over the coals!If the money is not an issue this seed blend is a great mix!

Multiple seed types, attracts birds, but not squirrels or racoons

I've tried a LOT of finch food, and this is 100% their favorite. Be warned that it does produce a lot of waste--birds are horribly messy eaters and the uneaten seed will sprout massive clumps of weed. Still, it's the product I keep going back to because the birds do too.

When I saw that the bag was more a mixture of other seeds than the wanted nijer, I was leery as to whether the lesser goldfinches and house finches would eat the stuff. I didn't have to worry about it! Checked the feeding areas the following morning and saw the feeders were completely empty. Well, alright then. This is what I'll be getting the future--the birds like it and it's a far better price than a bag of nijer seed. 👍🏻👍🏻
