Great quality, great customer service
The media could not be loaded. Disclaimer: if you are considering buying this without certification reconsider! I only recommend using it after getting certified as a diver! Otherwise you're risking health injuries or even worse.Tried out this 13cf pony bottle. Quality is good, packaging is good, everything is in working order. Note: when the bottle arrived originally the mouth piece was leaking air. I contact Dixie Divers and they worked with me to resolve the issue very quickly. They sent a replacement that worked with no issues. So far I've done about 7-10 dives with this bottle, beach dives about 5-10 feet deep.Bottle works as expected, and design and harness it comes with are well thought out and easy to use.Dive time: if I properly breathe bottle goes from 3kpsi to 500psi (untouchable reserve) in about 15 minutes. However due to nature of my dives I often had to swim around quickly and expend air much more quickly. So my overall average dive time this bottle allowed was 6-8 minutes which is very very good for how small and convenient it is and how easy it is to transport around. And those are "real world" numbers.Air refills: filling out is super ez through adapter that's included with the purchase. One thing - if filling out using another air tank, the amount of air filled in will obviously be decreasing after each refill as air is being expended in "donor" tank. First refill from full "donor" tank: 3k psi, second refill already gives only about 2.5-2.6 PSI, third and forth refill about 2k psi. I haven't tested to the limit on how many refills I could get from standard 80cf aluminum 3k PSA tank. I'd estimate 4-5 times and then the amount of air received will be too low (1.6-1.8k PSI) so it wouldn't be enough for more than 3-5 minute dive time.Cons: the only real con is pressure gauge - it's pretty damn hard to look at it during dives. I had to squirm around and move the tank around my waist to be able to peek into it. That's the only con I've found in first 10 or so dives.Overall opinion: great product and totally recommend. Limited use case scenarios but it's really awesome for those scenarios. Super easy to transport and carry around light and convenient! High quality build!

Leaks air at the main seal - (buyer beware)
The tank finally arrived, I attempted to fill it with air, and found that it leaks air between the tank and the first stage (see picture). I called Dixie Divers and they simply discounted me as someone too stupid to tighten the tank properly. I opened it up to see if I could change the o-ring (they suggested that I take it to a dive shop). I discovered that the o-ring was fine and the problem looks like it is more related to the threading on the tank and first stage (see picture). The threading is preventing the tank and first stage from tightening enough to seal the o-ring. I will be trying to return this today.Update: I called Dixie Divers again and they insisted that I needed to take it to a dive shop to get an O-ring. So I did. The owner of the dive shop examined the issue and told me, "the O-ring is fine but there is something wrong with the threads and there is nothing that can be done to get a seal...the threading on the Tank and the First stage are simply not compatible and will not twist all the way in".I called Dixie Divers and the told me to send them an email and include pictures which I have done. I got a form letter response from them and nothing else.Update Aug 3, 2019: I sent a follow-up email to Dixie Divers. Another form letter response. No other word from them. Very disappointing $399 is a lot to spend for non-functional/non-usable equipment.Update Aug 17: I did get some follow-up from Dixie Divers indicating that they would replace any defective parts. I had however already bought a new tank from another dive shop 6cf pony tank (pictured). I actually love the device and the kids love it at the pool ...I would give it a 5 star recommendation. Dixie Divers also eventually tried to make the sale right. In all fairness I will update my rating to give it 5 stars.

Nice little package
I bought this to go salvage diving off our boat dock. With out fail, someone will lose their sunglasses, phones...etc off the boat dock at least once a year. The 13 cf tank gives me about 15 minutes of bottom time at @24ft. Its rated at 3000PSI but my shop can only fill it to about 2900PSI because the hose toggles to another tank rather than to the compressor.I'm happy. It paid for itself with my first recovery dive!

Very nice unit and good dealer.
Very nice unit. I am 70 years old and have COPD so I can't dive deep or carry a full size tank any more. I use this for scalloping and lobstering in shallow water and it's great. I get 15 min or so on a tank. Dixie divers was great to deal with. My unit arrived with the wrong holster and no belt but they made it right quickly. Will deal with them again.

Great product
Arrived in perfect condition, works perfectly and have had no problems. I've used it about 15 short, shallow dives now.
