All metal, no plastic, quite heavy and sturdy. Runs smoothly and quietly. Very good airflow. We’ve had ours for 6+ years and use it all summer. No problems and no changes. Great looks and great function.

I was nervous to buy as it’s kinda pricey. I like the style and color and kept coming back to hem and haw.I live in a loft without AC. My hope with the air circulator was to get the warm air moving upstairs. The fan is not facing towards me and yet I can feel a coolness moving around me as if it is. I think this is the circulator doing it’s thing.It’s came minimally but well packaged with the sturdy shaped cardboard that’s easy to recycle. It was very easy to put together. I really like the aesthetic and the shade of blue green works with my home. I don’t like the sounds of fans and am often bothered by overhead kitchen and bathroom fans. I don’t find this van overly loud or in a high or weird pitch.The fan is very sturdy and well made. I am happy with it and think it should last me for years.

I have two Vornado fans and they are just great - I highly recommend them. They are powerful, have different strength levels, and provide amazing cooling and air circulation. I have a floor stand version and one that does not have a stand. I love them both. They are built like they will last 100 years - very sturdy and well constructed. The green color is very attractive and fits right into my decor.

It's a pretty expensive fan. But it is dope it looks great and it definitely circulates the air.My -1/2 star is because it doesn't oscillate or allow you to turn the fan in a direction. You have to the base and direct the fan that way. Not a huge deal and I knew about it before I bought.The other -1/2 star is also not a huge deal either. But you'll probably need to turn the silver collet 180 degrees from how it came in the box. This allows the electric cord and set screws to be on the back of the upright pole. It's just an eyesore thing. It's very simple to fix before you assemble the fan. I just didn't see it until I already had everything together and stood up.I friend helping would also have made it easier.This is a pretty heavy fan. It has nice rubber feet.It's not over the top noisey, it sounds like a fan. It looks really easy to take apart for cleaning.All in all I'm very happy.Update.So. Yeah. Mine started making noise after about 6 hours of use. I could probably fix it if I had nothing else to do. But why should I have to for this price?It's going back.

Fantastic Fabulous Fan! This is a really good looking fan with a high quality finish. This is the large pedestal version and it is perfect for medium to big rooms. Surprisingly it is narrow and thus doesn't waist much floor space. Bought as a gift for a friend and now that I've assembled and seen it I want to buy another one for myself. Assembly was easy and fan works great. It is very quiet on LOW yet moves a lot of air, turn it up and it is still quieter than most fans and really pushes out a column of air. Even on HIGH is not very loud and is perfectly balanced, no wobble or unexpected noises. Haven't owned it long enough to speak to durability but so far this is the best house fan I've ever used. Amazon shipped it in the OEM box, luckily the OEM box protected the fan really well in shipping as the box was dented and ripped but the fan was still perfect. I am surprise Amazon didn't ship the OEM box in an Amazon box like they often do. Well I guess it was less waist and I received the fan unharmed.

Prior to this, I ordered the Dyson (AM07) bladeless fan because they were aesthetically pleasing & functioned well. However, after going to Bed Bath & Beyond for some unrelated purpose, I came across this fan in the store. To put it short, I returned the Dyson. When I walked past the Vornado, this fan really packed a punch and the medium setting on this fan is far more powerful than the Dyson. The design is cute as well, although I do wish they would release more colors in this model. The fan itself is almost 95% metal-type based with the exception of a few plastic parts that make up the gold accents (the gold cage is metal though)...so this baby is sturdy. Putting it together was simple enough and all the tools (a mini wrench type tool and some bolts) are included.I'm extremely happy with this purchase with the exception of the fan not oscillating. Swiveling or adjusting the fan isn't as effortless as well since you have to unscrew the butterfly screw/bolt/thing to adjust the angle or direction. However, I don't feel that it is enough to deduct a star because I love how the height of the fan reaches me on the bed and the power is amazing. I finally have the air circulation I always wanted in my room. If you're unsure about purchasing it, just check online at Bed Bath & Beyond (it might even be cheaper to purchase it there because of the BB&B coupons & they have a great return policy) to see if your store, or a store near you, carries it. I understand that the price is a bit high, but for the materials and quality, I'm very happy with it.

I thought I was crazy to spend this much money on a fan. It is very pricey, but I bought it strictly for the look to fit my mid century modern house. As soon as I opened the package I knew it was a quality product, the quality control of this company is superior to any other company I have received a package from. I’ve had the fan several months now and it runs perfectly it is low noise, and it really blasts air.I love when I purchase a product, and there is a note before you even get to the packaging stating that they stand behind their product and it has a warranty. Again, pricey but I do believe I am going to buy another one for another room in my house unbelievably cool

This fan is worth the money. It moves a lot of air. Three speeds and adjustable height make it suitable for different size rooms. Very nice looking too. The green color is pleasing and not obtrusive on decor.
