Good Morning, You are welcome to turn the flap, but the fan determines the air direction.

Q: Can I install a screen mesh for bugs

Thank you for your question. Yes you can do this either by removing the lamellen, flaps and putting a screen down and then putting the flaps back or by putting the screen on the connecting piece on the back. Both would work. sincerely calimaero team
