Fast and Perfect
Love my monitors. Have not had a new monitor in ten years, so the upgrade was well overdue. These are fast too. Perfect for what I need to do.

Rock Solid
I'm going to get a little technical here, but I'll try to be brief:First off, this is an excellent budget monitor with good to great performance in all regards.Motion handling/blur are as close to perfect as I've personally witnessed with no visible smearing at any part of the color spectrum that my eyes have noticed. My particular panel arrived with no dead pixels and just one patch of backlight bleed in the upper right - it's only visible in very dark scenes. Quite good for a budget IPS monitor.Color accuracy out of the box was a touch overly green and red. sRGB color accuracy is nearly perfect to my naked eye after minimal calibration and I'm confident that I'll be able to dial in perfect settings when I have more time.I've read that contrast with this monitor can be a bit poor, even for an IPS panel. This has not been my experience - While obviously not perfect, blacks are far deeper than I would have expected from a budget IPS panel. Contrast performance is worse in the dark grey and grey-black range with those colors looking more samey than the rest of the spectrum, but only if you're really looking for it. Your eyes should adapt quickly. The HDR mode is a joke. It technically accepts an HDR signal but you'll struggle to spot the difference. If you really want HDR on a budget, look for a high-quality VA panel instead as they can come relatively close to approximating the effect of true local dimming.Input latency is a non-issue, feeling a bit faster than my 32 inch Dell VA panel but a bit slower than my old Viewsonic XG2402 - one of the last great TN panels with blisteringly low input lag. All in all, extremely fast.Ghosting/overshoot are totally invisible on the Fast overdrive setting across most of the refresh range, though I will say that I noticed a hint of overshoot in the 60 FPS locked title Pizza Tower. Even this was minimal enough that I stopped noticing it after a while. Try lowering overdrive to normal if this bothers you and you expect to play around 60 FPS or lower. Finally, I will recommend that you shell out the extra cash for the stand if you have about one foot of side-to-side space. It's a bit rigid when using the pivot feature but keeps wobbling to a minimum. In conclusion: If you're looking for a good 24 inch, IPS 1080p monitor with a high refresh rate, you can buy this one with confidence.

Perfect for casual gamer
I said casual gamer but really I clock in a solid amount of time in front of this monitor and a couple months later, it’s great. Keep in mind my review will apply to games and gameplay only as I don’t use it for media consumption or anything of the sort.Colors-great contrast without it being too much. Every single color looks pretty.Refresh rate- I never knew how important that was to gamers until I got this monitor, my kd in R6S went up by 1.2 simply by having better hertz.Value for money? No doubt, don’t wish for anything else.Con: Doesn’t have its own speakers so I needed to buy external speakers, you can directly connect headphones to the monitor which is a little weird but pop off.Overall I love it.

Absolute best value
The media could not be loaded. I ordered a 27in curve Asus 1080/144 monitor when I got a Xbox series s couple weeks ago, I got it only to play destiny again and found out series s only does 1080 for destiny… but after a week I started looking at other monitors bc even tho I loved the curve, 1080 at 27in honestly was bugging me so decided I should try a 24in.Thank god I found a video comparing Samsung odyssey to this monitor.. immediately canceled Samsung order and bought this one. Been using it for a few weeks now right next to the asus 27in curve and it’s 100% a way better experience. The colors on this Lg (w/ a little adjustments for personal preference) just pop so perfectly. Refresh rate super smooth and lately I’ve even been using it for work during the day too just bc it’s so much better to look at than the other monitor. Just feels more “lively” all around.I also love that there’s 2 hdmi ports and monitor automatically turns on based on whichever port is active. Menu system is really easy to use too.The stand is amazing and adjustable height is super easy and smooth to adjust but not too loose, hard to explain..My only complaint is I wish the monitor could be height adjusted to a lower height.. at its smallest it still sits too high for my preference for when I’m gaming. I have just purchased this monitor with the regular stand now though since it appears to sit lower.I just returned the asus 27 now to get another one of these LG’s instead, got the one w/ the other stand though. Will use that one for my Xbox and keep this one for my pc.Amazing monitor for gaming and even work. Having two different new monitors side by side for a couple weeks I can 100% recommend this one at this price range.

Nice but…
Great monitor. The only thing I don’t like is the mount which doesn’t allow a VESA mount for a camera.

Wasn't Expecting to Have NO Problems!
To monitor experts/amateurs: take this with a grain of salt, as I am a total noob. For my first monitor experience, I was beyond impressed by the visual quality of this monitor. This monitor serves as an upgrade from an old TV (that wasn't even 1080p), so I'm sure the majority of my opinion is due to that! However, the display is very crisp, the colors are fantastic (I'm an artist as well, so this is important), and it works great for the games that I play (Overwatch, mainly)! The monitor is not the sturdiest and shakes when there is movement, but I have no concern about the build quality or anything coming loose. There were no dead pixels or cosmetic flaws. I am a big fan of the red accents as well. It's important to note that I am only using an HDMI 1.4 cable so I am limited to 120hz and lack some features. Despite this, it's remarkably good, and I can't wait to see how good it is using the DP it came with in the future! Overall to me, a great monitor that was definitely worth the price it's at!
