We are very happy with the purchase of the Kazoo Titan 8 person tent. The tent is very easy to use and set-up. We were very pleased with the height - it felt as though we had a lot of room and it was really nice to have a tent where it is possible to stand and walk around. The tent is well-ventilated and made of quality products. While the tent could fit 8 people in sleeping bags, we found it to be very comfortable with three single air mattresses - this allowed room for the larger single mattresses and allowed ample opportunity to walk around and store our belongings. We also purchased a light and fan to put at the apex of the tent which helped with light and additional ventilation. Definitely a five-star review for a well-made, easy to navigate and really fun tent!!

I gotta day I put this tent through the ringer this last month since I got it. Took it to a convention in south Dakota where it held up very well against the wind there for the first time out. It's very simple to setup you just stake down the bug net, put the rain fly on top of that and then find the center and prop up the center pole. Stake down the rain fly away from the bug net and it holds up very well and goes up in a matter of minutes with just one person.This last week we used it for the entire 6 days camping with three kids and two dogs plus two adults. I wouldn't say you could fit two king size mattresses unless they're just mattress pads, we had a queen mattress that goes up passed my knees. It fit great between the side wall and the center pole but it did touch the bug net. Kids had plenty of room with their sleeping bags and the bug dog bed on the other side of the tent. I like that you can stand virtually anywhere without touching the top of the tent.Now let's talk rain. Thus thing is a beast!! With it properly staked down and the cords pulled out it pulls the rain fly nice and far away from the bug net. We got a HUGE storm overnight one night we were out and the wind was whistling through. The tent wasn't wet at all. I like that the rain fly holds far enough away that water won't splash in and that it still allows a nice airflow right up underneath the tent. The pope never budged until it was time to take it down. This is by far one of the best tents I've ever slept in. Very easy to bring up the canopy once its setup. Then once the rain hit we just pulled it off the rods and let the rods fall and zipped up the door. I do wish the door was taller but that's just personal preference. If it were much taller Mt kids wouldn't have been able to help zip it up when the rain came.

This is easy to install, sturdy, very spacious teepee style tent. I brought this to my trips to Yosemite, Sierra Nevada, utah, and Idaho during summer. With some decorative garlands, this tent looked ao cute and drew attentions from people in the campgrounds. But, it was super hot in summer weather. Unlike other types of tents with lots of ventillating windows, the tent has two doors and cannot circulate air enough. We had to stay in the car during the day time, and came back to the tent at night.

I think this review deserves to be broken down into two parts, the tent, and then Kazoo's customer services, which has been especially incredible.First, the tent: For it's price you won't find a tent of this size that performs as well as it does. It is very spacious with more then enough room for most people to stand up (absolutely wonderful for someone like me coming from backpacking tents) and the floor is wide enough for me to set a queen mattress on one side of the center pole and either leave the rest of the tent available for storage, or to set up a second queen mattress if I want more sleeping space. As to durability, I've left the tent up in torrential downpours, up for weeks on end, and in high winds. During one particularly high wind event the top of the center pole eventually punched a whole through the top of the fly, however, even dealing with that was a great experience. More on that in the customer service section. The awning is admittedly the one disappointing part, it doesn't provide much shade due to its size and shape and can be difficult to get to stay upright. All in all, a really good tent, and at the price it's offered (especially since sales are somewhat common) practically stealing.One other point for the niche of people who do reenacting such as the SCA or Renfaires, the tent passes as canvas (and practically as period due to the teepee shape) at about 100 feet. In my mind this makes it the ultimate entry tent for new scadians and rennies.Second, their customer service: When I had the pole go through the tent fly, I assumed the whole thing was a lost cause and I should write it off, but I decided to reach out about warranty anyways. Kazoo totally blew me away and turned my expectation on its head! They responded very quickly asking for a photo and amazon order, just a few hours after they got that, they offered to send me a new fly as soon as they could but just mentioned that they didn't expect to have any available for 2 weeks. I told them that was find but that I had a camping event in 3 weeks I really needed the tent for. 2 weeks later I got an email from them saying that the flys as a separate item were still unavailable and delayed, and that because of that they were going to send me an entirely new tent so I would be equipped for my event (I assume they don't have access to their warehouse which is probably overseas). This was all done for free and without me even asking! They even shipped the tent priority so that it would get to me in time!! In my mind, this kind of incredible customer services outweighs any small durability issues or questionable awnings! A huge thanks to the Kazoo team for making sure I was ready for my event!Just make sure you check your spam with any email correspondence with them. Google identifies their email address as spam for some reason.tl;dr: A great budget tent for it's size and their customer service makes up for any flaws.
