Leuchtturm1917 361033 Bullet Journal Medium (A5), New Pink

I use it as an every day journal. I no longer use its special features.The quality of the paper is excellent and doesn't bleed.The THREE bookmarks are very useful and well used.I have been using these books for many years.(I also use hardback Moleskine notebooks for various purposes. So, the use of the books is not mutually exclusive.)

28 June 2023 - * I've just received this journal and the cover is rucked up and unsightly. The plastic covering is still in place, so I assume this is a manufacturing fault. I'm sending it back, hoping the replacement is in a better state.03 July 2023 - ***** Due to be delivered on 02 July, the driver didn't bother to find the correct house, but just left the parcel two doors up and logged it as delivered through my letterbox! Despite its adventures, this journal arrived in perfect condition. It is exactly like the Leuchtturm 1917 I normally buy, only there are pages devoted to explaining the bullet journal system and 4 pages headed "future log" where I normally make up my own on a double page spread (pictured). Also there doesn't appear to be any perforated pages at the back, whereas the standard Leuchtturm 1917 has eight of these (not that I've ever felt the need to tear out pages). The extra, third bookmark ribbon will be handy for me as I usually keep a list of books read during the year at the back of the book (about 10 pages from the end) and I will use the third bookmark for that. My standard Leuchtturm has two markers, one I place in my "Future Log" and one in my current position.

I’ve used leuchtturm bullet journals for years and they are by far the best notebook for me - page size, paper quality, 3 ribbons, pocket inside all make this perfect. I’ve tried other brands but they aren’t nearly as good

I bought this as my 2025 journal, it should be exactly the same product as last year but the lovely paper I’m used to just isn’t there with this one. I can see the ink through each sheet that I’ve written on and it doesn’t feel as luxurious as these notebooks normally are? Could this be a fake product? The packaging was in Japanese and the journal is in English. I’m disappointed, the paper stock is poor quality.

Expensive

This is a great journal - good quality paper, hardwearing, numbered pages ...everything you need except it does not have a pen loop. Honestly I know that sounds petty but what a pain. I had not realised I depended on that loop so much, now I have nowhere to put my pen, unless I also carry.... a pencil case, and I really dont want to do that all the time either.Anyway apart from that lack, which sadly does mean I won't be back to purchase another of these very nice journals - it is a great notebook.

I love the new bullet journal that arrived: bright colour, high-quality paper and the extra details included about the layout, which weren’t in the previous journals I’d purchased. However, the included guide was only written in Chinese, Japanese and Korean. I can’t read it and I really want to! Better to include a guide with many languages, or specific ones on request.

Since purchase I've moved onto a Leuchtturm 18 Month A5 Page per Week Diary and Notebook as it fits my immediate needs better than the Bullet Journal which is now the cross reference for my diary. Excellent products, the Bullet Journal gets only 3 Stars because of my requirements, no other reason...
