Maybe best repellant on market
I've used this repellant exclusively for decades. I now live near NYS's southern Adirondack mountains and lived in the woods up here previously for 12 years, plus Gulf-side Florida where I hiked several days a week. It's great for all outdoor, woodsy activities, including mountain bushwhacking, trail hiking, Orienteering (map & compass) and even yardwork. I had to order it online as no local vendors carried the 100% DEET solution. While I've never had any ill effects from spraying it minimally on my skin, I prefer to spray it on my billed cap or a couple spritzes on my legs, neck and shirt shoulders. It lasts up to a week on my hat. It repels ALL bugs - flying ones may fly close, but don't land. Ground ones? Have never had to brush any off. I've always hated the greasy or aerosol feeling and scent of other products on my skin. Not with this Ben's product! I don't even notice it. One warning - avoid any contact with plastic - glasses (especially lenses!) or any plastic equipment...it will react and "smear" if not cleaned off immediately. Overall an excellent product!

It works!
This is the best mosquito spray I've ever used! It doesn't smell terrible (it's bug spray and not perfume but it's not over powering and terrible smelling). The mosquitos have been awful this year and my kids and I were getting bites in our backyard in the afternoon. The off brand we usually use just wasn't working so I bought this one and it's fantastic! No more bites and I don't even get bothered by little gnats or anything. I keep a bottle by the back door now and my kids and I spray every time we go outside and I have a bottle in my purse and my husband keeps one in his car so we're never caught without it! I'll never buy anything else, this one is perfect 👍

Good stuff
You can be paranoid about using Deet while I sit there mosquito and tick free. It doesn't take much. Always get 100%.

Great Product...Packaging Needs Help
Ben's DEET is very effective at repelling insects...even in the thick jungle of Sri Lanka. Only criticism: the packaging leaks. I kept it inside two nested ziplocks for the duration of the trip.

Works Well
Took a bottle of this to northern Michigan on a golf trip. It worked exceptionally well. It does seem really harsh so I went out of my way to only apply it to clothing and not directly to my skin. Good product as far as I’m concerned.

Love this little bottle of deet.
Mosquitos love me. Several years ago I mixed this whole bottle with a 20 oz. Bottle of lavender lotion. No more mosquito bites. I do this every summer for maybe 5 years now. Mosquitos stay away no matter where I am or how much exposure. I'm very happy and have told many people my formula.

Mixed Results—Effective but Not Perfect
I recently tried Ben’s 100% DEET Tick & Insect Repellent on a backpacking trip, and my experience was somewhat mixed. While the repellent has its strengths, it didn’t completely meet my expectations. On the positive side, the repellent is highly potent, with 100% DEET providing a strong defense against insects. The application process is straightforward, and the spray is easy to use. It’s clear that this repellent is designed to offer serious protection, and it does create a barrier that helps repel many bugs. However, despite using it generously and following the instructions carefully, I found that I was still covered in ticks and bug bites. I was disappointed to find that even with such a high concentration of DEET, the repellent didn’t fully protect me from ticks and other pests. This was particularly concerning during areas with high insect activity. The scent is strong, which is typical for DEET products, and it lingered for a while. While not unpleasant, it’s worth noting if you’re sensitive to strong odors. In summary, Ben’s 100% DEET Tick & Insect Repellent offers high potency and effective repellent action, but it fell short in providing complete protection against ticks and bug bites. It might be worth trying if you’re in a heavily infested area, but be prepared for the possibility of needing additional protective measures.

BEST BUG REPELLENT EVER FOR TRAVEL
Max effective against mosquitoes, gnats, fleas and other annoying bugs. Used it when hiking in the East Coast (where the lyme disease came from - Lyme, Connecticut). Don't use w/ babies and little kids or have dogs or cats around... can make them sick. Yeah, the 100% that strong. Recommended 25 to 30% if u have little ones around.
