This cloth is, yes, “compatible” with the 14” MBP but it is really for a smaller laptop which means that, while it does cover the keyboard, it does not extend to edges of the laptop. I would not have purchased this if I had realized this.

I've ordered these for past computers and continue to come back, even after trying other brands. These are by far my favorite in terms of quality, feel of the cloth and overall protection + screen wipe. For such a simple concept, they've perfected it.

Always hated when the laptop keyboard leaves an impression on the screen after closing it. It's due to the oils on your fingers and other debris even if you use a keyboard cover. Use it to cover the keyboard when closing your laptop. It's an overpriced micro-fiber cloth but it does its job. In the picture is a HP 14 Chromebook, the cloth is big enough to cover the keyboard but does not the size of 14" screen. I wish the cloth was 1" bigger to protect the laptop screen completely.

Super useful to avoid the dreaded screen keyboard imprint. Just leave it over your keyboard when you close you device and clean the cloth every once in a while. Comes with two so you have a backup! Also nice to use just to wipe off your screen.Update: After using the first cloth as a cover and occasional screen wipe for a couple weeks I washed it, and was saddened to find that the cloth shrunk so badly that it no longer completely covers my keyboard. Looks like if you are going to order a cloth like this order a 15.6" one so when it shrinks it still provides one of it's functions.

I learned my lesson years ago not having a keyboard protector. I traveled a lot and the keyboard would smash into the screen. Scratching a permanent mark into my laptop LCD. Not anymore with these guys! The microfiber sticker comes in handy too.
