We heard about this item recently when we were visiting my dad in the hospital and my mom could not hear the nurses speaking. One of them mentioned this product so I wrote it down to check it out. I ordered this for my mom and I have NEVER seen her more happy and excited about something! She can sit at a table now with others around and hear the conversation going around the table. Prior to the SuperEar, she would mention that she always felt like she was all alone, when she sat with all of us, since she couldn't hear peoples conversation (with her hearing aid). It was heartbreaking! She can use this when she is on the phone and hear conversations on the phone now too. She puts the phone on speaker and puts that on the table and puts the device on the table too. She brought it to her hairdresser with an old pair of headphones and was able to hear the hairdresser speak to her while she waited for her hair to be colored. Normally she can't hear a word since she would have her hearing aid out. She can also hear the tv better now instead of trying to read the closed captions that go too fast!She takes her hearing aid out in order to use this device and we are so thankful to have mom back in our conversations and to also be able to speak to her more easily on the phone! A++++++++++ product!

If you're watching tv or listening to a radio at home or talking to your wife at home the unit works great. Like every other hearing aid when you have multiple hearing coming at you it's just too much and it's very frustratiing to try to listen to everything that is going on. It's not good in a car either. I would say it is like every other hearing aid but much less expensive.I use it for watchin tv and I'm happy with what I have.

I got this for my father, after testing another superear product before, he has severe ear lost but also complains a lot about the plugs or earpieces from more "fancy" brands, the option here is that the battery is much more common and easy to change, and the headphones as long as using a jack you can choose any you will like, so overall I do recommend. However not all that good for phone usage, since you have to use a speaker, and as always being an amplifier, also noise comes into the mix.

I purchased this for my 92 year old mother, it works well for her. She is very hard of hearing in one ear, which often makes it difficult to carry on a conversation without having to raise your voice in order for her to hear. When wearing the headphones I can talk in a normal voice and she is able to hear, and understand, everything I'm saying. I also make sure to bring it to all of her doctor appointments so that she can hear the questions the doctors and nurses ask, and hear what the doctor says. This device has a rechargable battery and you can use disposable batteries too. It is also very easy for her to use, just slip on the headphones, turn on the device, and adjust the volume based on the situation.

I got this to be able to hear the dialog on TV. It does make sound louder but ALL the sound including the background music on the show is louder. The only help this gives is the other people watching the TV can have the sound at a normal volume and you can move the sound up and down as you want.

I purchased this for watching tv. The amplification was okay but the fact that you are tethered to the device kinda sucks. If you move it makes big scratchy noises and the cord to the headphones is maybe 6 feet so you have to sit right in front of the tv. It would be better if it was Bluetooth capable. Super short return window as well. Don’t waste your money.

I bought the rechargeable amplifier for my elderly mother (97.5 years old). Mom was hospitalized and the hospital provided the amplifier because they did not want to be responsible for misplacing the hearing aids. Super Ear works far better than hearing aids that cost way more money and constantly need to be fine-tuned with the audiologist.My mother is stone deaf but with the amplifier she hears most everything, even from a bit of a distance and does not misunderstand words like she does with the hearing aids. The only downside is the wires. However, dealing with the wires is much easier than constantly having to repeat yourself because she cannot understand what is being said with the hearing aids.The charge lasts 40 hours and are easy to plug-in.It’s amazing how well mom hears and doesn’t miss a beat when she’s wearing the Super Ear.We highly recommend it to anyone who is a little hard of hearing and needs things tuned up a bit to catch what other are saying and not miss a beat.

I am 82 and have hearing loss and tinnitus. I will not pay $6k for hearing aids. I take my glasses off to read, and that means I take them off 20-30 times a day. Over the ear units get dislodged or knocked off every time. I don't like the feel of earbuds in my ear. This product is comfortable and perfect for watching TV, supresses my tinnitus, and works as advertised. My wife no longer yells at me to turn down the volume of the TV.
