Great Propane Regulator for the RV
I had to replace an old regulator on our camper. I decided to get this one. It was an easy installation. It worked great. I highly recommend this regulator.

Good tech support
Great device, quick easy install. Had a question about installing the regulator horizontally instead of vertically so I reached out to King Tech Support. They answered within 24 hours. BTW, they say you should always mount vertically which is unfortunate. That method makes it indicator impossible to see in my application. Still very good product.

Perfect Auto Changeover Design! No More Fuel Anxiety for Camping
This Flame King 2-stage regulator is a game-changer for my RV! The auto changeover works flawlessly—when the primary propane tank empties, it silently switches to the reserve without interrupting my stove or water heater. The two 12-inch pigtails are perfectly sized, and installation took mere minutes. The regulator’s build quality is impressive, maintaining consistent pressure in both freezing and hot weather. A must-have for any RV owner!

One year later
Bought this Flame King automatic changeover valve already year ago and during that time I've only changed my tanks twice, so I was distressed when I had no propane at my stove last night, as that tank had been on only one week. I went out to make sure the tank wasn't defective and found one of the hose fittings leaking propane. This morning I checked it out and found the hose was leaking at the crimp connection. Ordered new, braided stainless hoses (again from Flame King) but they won't be here for almost a week. Can't say what caused it, but i will have a spare hose from now on.

Avoid the cheaper, non-name brand options and invest a bit more in this one.
I initially tried a few cheaper versions of this product on Amazon, but they didn't hold up well. After installing this one about three weeks ago, I noticed a significant difference. Normally, I would have gone through one of my 30lb tanks by now, but with this product, my tank has barely moved, and I haven't had to start using my backup tank.

Good value!
This was original equipment on my travel trailer. There is a ton of confusion regarding the difference between ACR-6 & ACR-2. I reached out to Flame King, directly, and they responded the next day informing me there is no difference and they are both rated at over 345,000 BTU/Hour. If I add up ALL of the propane appliances (i.e., furnace, refrigerator, water heater, and stove) in my travel trailer it all comes up to less than 35,000 BTU/Hour demand total. I never had any trouble with the original unit... I just desire to carry a spare.Again, ACR-6 & ACR-2 are identical according to Flame King technical Support.
