I came across this brand after I requested my hair braider to use plant based gels on my daughter. That’s when we found this styling foam. It works on natural hair and synthetic, very effective for both. My children have hair types ranging from 3B to 4C and it got the job done either way to set that protective style and lock in shine and moisture. The scent is very light, not overwhelming at all. It works exceptionally well on crochet hair. I recommend styling any braids with the OGEL, then immediately applying this for a hydrated, sleek look. No itchiness occurred thankfully like the other mainstream brands.

This actually helps with the frizz. The hokd isn't strong but does the job.Also when you use this it leave a nice sheen to the hair

Wow, this is actually super nice. For reference, I have 3b/3c curls. The first picture is wash day. My curls are usually super frizzy on wash day and do not hold the product well. I’m amazed. I applied my regular curl cream and gel, then topped off by scrunching my curls with this. The second picture is after I retouched my day 3 curls.It literally takes a super small amount like show to coat your whole head but it helps get rid of the frizz and kept my curls looking pretty all day long. Even in this summer humidity.I believe I did a pump and a half, if that. It may even be a whole pump. I started off with a half pump and worked my way up applying more as needed in small increments. it turns into almost a whipped mousse. It doesn’t smell the best but the smell doesn’t even stay in the hair.

I purchased this not knowing this was for African American hair. I have long and thick hair so I tried it anyways. Foam is easily dispersed from a pump bottle and was easy to apply to my hair. Let it air dry and my curls were slightly sticky. I finished with a light blow dry and it looks like any other curl product I have used.

This styling foam really helped my curls and made my hair less frizzy. I applied this right after I washed my hair and it added some shine and made my hair look healthier. I like the pump applicator and it dispenses the perfect amount of foam. I didn't need to use a lot and it didn't leave my hair scrunchy like some other products sometimes do. I love the fact that this contains coconut oil, honey and flax seed oil and that this is manufactured here in the USA.

I really wanted to like this as I am a natural who swears by mouse. I applied this as a normally do on soaking wet hair it appeared to somewhat define it but not like I wanted. When I dried my hair my hair looked dry and there was no hold or definition.

If you want your hair to be moisturized for days, this is for you. But it will get sticky and greasy.

I like that this has natural ingredients and it felt very gentle on my hair. It did make my natural curls "pop" though it was a tad crunchy. I applied it to my wet hair out of the shower and added some of my usual gel, and diffused for a nice gel cast. I don't know if this is something I would use as part of my daily routine, I am still observing the results.
