Beautiful plates and microwave and dishwasher safe. However, you should not leave in the microwave for more than a minute and so as it is really just for reheating. I would buy more as we are happy with them.

The artwork is exquisite! I feel like I'm walking through an enchanted forest and seeing the forest creatures in their own hidden environment.I read some of reviews that it WASN'T dishwasher or microwave safe. After receiving them first thing I did was to put a mug filled with water in the microwave for 2 minutes, the handle was warm but NOT HOT. Second thing I did, I put 2 dirty plates in the dishwasher. I took them out after a full cycle and compared them to other plates there was no fading! Bottom line is, I love this set, and I would recommend them to my friends and family. BTW, I bought 2 sets ;-)

This is a nice set of dishes. The pattern has a nice variety of wildlife (raccoons, deer, owls, foxes) with a great fall color pallet. These dishes are not flimsy and have a nice heft to them; they handle a bit like lightweight crockery and are dishwasher/microwave-safe. They're a great bargain for the set; I ordered a second set so that we would have eight of everything. They also come VERY well packed. As I mentioned I ordered a second set; I also ordered eight small canape plates (they aren't included in the base set), a matching platter, and a matching serving bowl; NOTHING showed up broken. I would definitely recommend this set.

I was hesitant at first, because when you're buying something like dishes online, you may like how they look, but when you hold them and look at them closely they're poor quality. Not these!! They are well made, beautiful pictures and vibrant colors. I use them for everyday, and will be definitely purchasing the winter set as well. They are also dishwasher safe which is a plus, so glad I found these!

I've been eyeballing this set since I stumbled upon it on Kohl's awhile back. I figured I'd just check to see and low and behold I found them here for way less then Kohl's wanted. The dishes came in very well packaged and even though the box was a little damaged from shipping, no problems inside. The images are vibrant and just as pictured. The mugs are Microwave and Dishwasher safe but the plates are not safe for dishwasher which isn't a terrible thing because these are my "good" dishes for specials and I'd rather wash them by hand anyway. So glad I made the purchase!

The artwork is beautiful, and the dinnerware seems heavy and sturdy. I tried microwaving hot chocolate in the mugs, and the handles stayed cool too. I just loved the whole set, so I ended up buying the deer serving plate too later on.

I ordered two sets and find them adorable. Heavy ceramic. My only complaint is (in one of the sets) I received two OWL salad plates when one of those salad plates should have been a deer. I’m not sure how to let the company know, but I’d like the correct plate.
