Washing Line Replacement
Bought to replace my very thin washing line.Excellent quality cord, easy to put up, tie knots and my pegged washing actually stays in place!

Strong washing line that doesn't sag too much
I ordered this to replace an extending plastic clothesline that had started to break apart. My husband replaced the wall screws with hooks and it only took a few minutes to tie into place, pulling it as tight as we could. I had to cut some off, so I tied the end in a knot to stop it fraying. It's a good strong washing line, and it's quite thick compared to my old plastic line. It works well with my plastic pegs (from a well known Swedish store) and the washing doesn't slide around like it did on my old plastic line.It has stretched a bit as expected, but we use a line prop so it's not really a problem. Also, it's easy to tighten up by winding it round the hooks again. Overall it's much better than the extending lines we've been using for years, it's easier to install and it's a stronger line, so it was a good choice.

Strong and thick.
Good strong line. Good thickness, my old one was a thinner plastic thickness and my plastic pegs didn't grip properly, now they do. My only disappointment is that there appears to be a join about half way, either that or it is thread ends. I don't think it will come apart or cause any issues, so haven't returned it. Also because I have a small garden it is over long and my cleats could do with being able to take more cord, so just a word of advice to anyone who thinks a shorter line would be more appropriate. I don't want to cut it.

Not a great washing line
I’ve been using this as a washing line for a few months and although it is good quality and strong, it’s obviously absorbent so once it gets wet it stays wet for a while which has resulted in wet lines on my washing as it can’t dry as quick, I also find it really hard to pull through my washing pole loops, it’s rough so it gets stuck/doesn’t flow, when the line is full of heavy washing, trying to pull it to get it back up is a serious challenge. It’s also looking dirty after just a few months, it’s covered in black spots which I’m starting to think might be mould because it’s porous and getting wet but could just be dirt… for what I want I just don’t think it’s fit for purpose and will unfortunately be going back to a polypropylene line.
