Sufix 832 Advanced Superline Braid, Hi-Vis Yellow, 20-Pound/300-Yard Spool (660-120Y)

I prefer this line over other braids as it's easier to see than the green or brown lines from other makers. It also has less tendency to "rats nest" up than similar lines. Holds a knot well which is always an issue with braided lines. I use 20 lb test with 15 lb fluorocarbon which is strong enough to retrieve most snagged jigs. Recommend.

I performed a strength test on this line (20#) after doing the same with another brand (Kastking 100#) and finding it to be breaking at 2/3 of it's rated strength. The 20# Sufix line broke at *above* it's rated strength. I tested with a loop, which should halve the loss from the knot, and the loop broke at about 40 or 50#. Same test with the Kastking, so it wasn't the knot but the line. The strength of the Sufix line surprised me: when it broke I knocked my (full) coffee cup across the room! YMMV. This was brand new line. There's a negative review about the Sufix fraying faster than the KK.

I used this line on my spinning with 1 oz popper around 15 fishing and still not doesn't need to cut a couple feet from the end to refresh it. Very good experience.

Worth the extra money! Love the hi vis for my muddy MS water and spillway fishing. Quality stuff!

Thin, smooth, and visible. I use it for inshore fishing in VA. I recommend using it as your main line and tie on 20lb or less fluor or mono leaders.

Great braided line. The color doesn't fade and it does cast smoothly.

I believe that “ you get what you pay for”, but I think that this product is overpriced and you are just paying for the name. There are cheaper brands that have the same attributes as this product.

This line did not work well for me. The knots I tied with this line did not hold and the line broke several times in the middle of the spool which caused me to lose fish.
