This worked great on our African safari. You could literally see bugs stop in their tracks from the repellent. I would highly recommend!

Don't take this as a bad review, just a lacking experience for one customer. This spray came highly recommended by several people. It is hard to judge how good any repellant works as situations change. For me I did not think this repellant work well, and did not think it was great and worth the price. I think repellants work different for different people. Maybe I was expecting more from this product because of how it was so highly recommended.I am giving it 4 stars because people I trust their option love it. I gave them my other two bottles. They thanked me and said it is all they use when camping. I believe them, but it did not work for me.

If you don't find a tick on you does it mean this is really working, or that there were no ticks by you? Don't know, but won't run the risk these days. Friends have gotten Lyme disease, I'm trying not to! Easy to use, no reason not to use when I'm in the yard doing landscape / messing with clean up & planting. It's insurance against getting sick...easy decision for me.

I have not found a 100% effective tick repellent but this is the best I have found. We live on 10 acres of forest land and picks are very much a problem in early spring. This stuff works well.

One of the three bottles had leaked to about 1/2 the original amount !Others have had the same complaint.Cost to you . . . goes up when you don't get the amount you paid for.Also, watch that you do not get the wet black ink from the packaging on your clothes !

This repellent with picardin is a good alternative to DEET.DEET smells awful.This product barely has a smell and it doesn't feel sticky or oily on the skin (other Ben's products may contain DEET and I would not use them)I use it after a shower and it seems to work all day. I've had no ticks (while wearing it) and few mosquitoes.

I would give it gladly 5-stars, as it has nice scent, it is less harsh than deet, small and handy. the sprayer is the problem, though. it keeps rotating all around and you spray everything except of what you want to spray. it could be very simply improved, to perhaps make sprayer square, or add a holding ribs, so it does not rotate so wildly all the time. waste of product, unnecessary splashing of everything around, your hand getting soaked - it all could be avoided with a better design. but product is perfect and works great!(same with pressure spray version - sprayer troublesome to press, does not respond easily to pressing, and makes it a real effort. a few design changes would make it perfect).
