Best protein I've found so far
I'm gluten and dairy intolerant, I also have Hashimotos and tend to be very careful about what I put in my body. This protein has good flavor and doesn't make me feel bloated

Good plant based protein
Could be 5 stars if it tasted better. But it's not that bad. Great amino acids, only .5g sugar, 21g protein.Overall, it's one of the better tasting plant based proteins I've tried.

Great source of protein. I get no bloat at all from this and my joints feel much better getting off of whey. I also feel like I am recovery better on this compared to whey. No more whey in my diet.

Update: Does NOT sit well with me!
NOTE: Apparently this chickpea protein powder does not sit well with me. I just realized that the last three times I’ve had it it really upset my stomach. I won’t be able to finish it because it seriously made me toss my cookies.I tend to vary between whey protein and plant protein to supplement my protein needs for exercise and workouts. I’ve found that most plant protein powders are grainy. I can for the most part deal with it, but I don’t prefer grainy drinks! This chickpea protein drink isn’t very grainy at all! It mixes well with water and ice cubes in my blender bottle. It does get a little foamy tho, so you have to wait to drink it. The only negative is that you can taste the “pea” flavor a bit. It’s not bad, and the chocolate flavor mostly covers it, but it is there. Oh- and I’m also glad this isn’t to sweet and sugary. Low carb baby!

Helps Husband Cut Down on Dairy...
Without going into too much detail, my husband has been attempting to cut down on dairy because of digestive issues. The problem is that he loves his protein shakes and he was adamant about not giving them up. I figured I would try this and see if it is something he could switch to in order to help heal his gut and give his stomach a rest while still being able to have his protein shakes. He was a little concerned at first about the chickpea protein this is made from. I do have to admit that this does have a slight chickpea taste to it but it is something he can handle. It's not very overwhelming or noticeable and the chocolate flavor does help to cover it up. He does wish it was a little more chocolatey in flavor but he likes to add a little extra cocoa to his protein shakes anyway so it really isn't a big deal for him. If you like protein shakes that are full in chocolate flavor and you don't want to have to add extra stuff to it, however, this is something to consider.I am impressed with the ingredients this is made from. Overall, this formula is very healthy and pure compared to a lot of the other protein powders out there. I like that this is sweetened with stevia and monk fruit extract instead of sugar or other less desirable sweeteners.

easy on stomach, simple quality ingredients, could use more chocolate
Chickpea protein, better than pea protein (a lot of plant based rely on pea protein). I dont like whey protein, and I dont do soy protein because of Hashimotos Thyroiditis where soy is a big no no. While some soy gets into my system, I am not about to intentionally dose it on a regular basis to the magnitude that a powder has. So non soy non pea plant based protein it is. Chickpea has come on the scene, and so far I have been doing really well with it. Easy on stomach, easy to drink. I just feel good when I drink it. All else seems to be a toss up, so I go chickpea when I can. This flavor is considered "chocolate". Oddly, it just uses cocoa powder to flavor it (and unsweetened cocoa powder has its own benefits) But it is faint. Overall taste is doable if nothing is added to it, but if you want a more robust chocolate flavor then add in your own unsweetened cacao or cocoa. It makes for a great base for anything else you may want to add in. I love a chocolate banana and instant coffee smoothie in the morning (like the old starbucksVivanno).Blends easily. I use a rechargeable blender cup for most of my basic mixing needs. I mix this with non dairy milk, and drink up. The texture is thicker than a lot of protein powders I use, which I like. Reminds me more of a nutrition shake.Flavor: 4 starsQuality ingredients, simple ingredients, gentle on stomach, easy to drink, easy to mix, thicker than norm.. 5 starsGoing with 5 stars

Won Me Over
The Sport Formula Chickpea Protein Powder is a surprisingly effective and easy-to-digest vegan protein powder. I still sometimes get protein farts (TMI), but they are minimal compared to some other powders. The poofy powder mixes well and blends into smoothies to make a very creamy shake. It is okay with simply water but is much better with milk, peanut butter, bananas, and the like. It is chickpea protein and very little else.I'm 50+ and feel I need a bit of extra help maintaining and building lean muscle aside from what I get from my regular diet. Chickpea Protein has become a regular ingredient in my power shakes and I'd recommend it to anyone. It is vegan, non-GMO, and pretty much ticks off all the right boxes. The flavor is pretty good as well.Made in the USA~ Kort
