What is the difference between square and round heads

The nut holds the rail to the handguard of the weapon. Where as the rounded head of the bolt seats recessed in the rail to maintain clearance for any picatinny accessories.

This rail system fits on any M-LOK handguard. If it has a M-LOK handguard then it will fit.

Will this fit a S&W .357 revolver short barrel?

I would say no. unless your revolver is drilled and tapped to accept picatinny rails

What is the center to center screw holes dimensions?

There are several pieces with varying sizes the smallest still has 2 screw points they are very versatile I applied all but 3 pieces to my weapon and have not had any issue with loosening etc.

For the price these are great!

I'm modifying one or more of these, so my opinion is likely different than others. As someone else stated, these don't look like aluminum, or almost like pot metal, but I think it's because of the paint. I ground into one and they are solid aluminum. They could even polish up if one so desired.I just don't like the fitting "nubs" on the bottom, which is probably desirable for some uses, but not for mine. Otherwise, 5 stars.

Mounted to Mlok slot, held Atlas bipod successfully

One rail section was mounted to an AR10 upper, and it fit the MLOK slot. Before mounting, the slot was stressed with pilars to force a twist, but the rail did not twist. An Atlas bipod, prev mounted to a Magpul rail, was attached, and no adjustment was necessary. At the range, performance was satisfactory. I would buy the product again.
