This is a nice unit. It’s long enough and was super easy to mount in my garage. Good price, well worth it.

I grew tired of constantly fussing with cords when I completed my projects. The last thing I felt like doing after a long tough project was wrapping up extension cords. The 3 outlet design with a light to let you know its hot gives me functionality to power my tools. The length is enought to span my entire shop and go outside a bit if I opt to use tools outside. So far the retract and extraction of the extension cable is as expected, and I have had no issues with it. I'd dock a half star becuse I would have liked to see more of a variety of hardware and washers, but at this price point I can be a bit more forgiving.

Works well. Good made material. Sometimes it binds up if you pull the cord all the way out but it’s not a deal breaker. Would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. Really easy to install. Looks and works great. I bought it to hang from my carport to charge the trolling motor batteries in my boat. I use it now anytime I need to use power outside.

I mounted this to the ceiling inside my garage. I enjoy using it without tripping over the cord or having to move it out of the way to get my woodworking tables into position. It’s a safer way to operate.

This is a great reel, I’ve used it almost everyday for about 3 months, and it is still working well. I wanted it mounted between my side-by-side shop doors, so I had to install an outlet above it… I just wish the reel could either be mounted upside down, or that you could flip the cord to the top side of the reel for this purpose. Once you install the swivel base, the reel just slides in from the top, which is a nice design, but limits your mounting options if your outlet is above the reel like mine, but I doubt many people would set theirs up like I did, so probably not an issue for most. Highly recommended!

All the 5-star reviews are correct - easy installation, especially with the sliding bracket. Good quality, retraction is very smooth. But be aware that the 13A breaker will pop when using larger tools, like a table saw. I have it mounted over my workbench next to the air, which makes it perfect for hand tools. But I needed a quick table saw cut, and popped the breaker on startup, which required me to haul out the big ladder to reset it. No complaints at all, just something to be aware of.
