Great condition

I’ve never really liked Risk, however this version is fun because you can play it in different ways. It does take a little time to read/figure out the game play with the new way though. However, you can play the original way until you figure it out! Very happy with my purchase. One game to rule them all.

This is a great twist on an old classic. Hours of family fun. The game came with all the pieces and was in good order other than the box being slightly damaged at the corner.

It's a really fun board game. It's easy to learn and the kids loved it. And it ain't even all that expensive, it makes an awesome Christmas gift.

The best risk by far, this is the version my family grew up playing and I did not know until recently there were other versions. Everything else seems to fall short when compared to this version not only the gameplay but also the themeing just adds that extra bit of fun.

The quality of this game is amazing. Instructions are long and because of the different ways of playing it offers... Well it may be complicated at first hahahDefinitely the kind of game that will take hours (only the set up took us like three hours because we played in teams and Well.. you definitely need cooperation and interest from all the players)Overall amazing game. The ring is an amazing detail!! Looks so good. The box is perfect for storage and keep everything organized.

MY 27yr OLD SON HAS BEEN A HUGE LORD OF THE RINGS FAN SINCE ABLE TO WATCH MOVIES/TV. WHEN HE GOT OLDER I BOUGHT OG RISK AND HE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT.RECEIVING THIS FOR HIS BDAY WAS QUITE THE SURPRISE. HE SAID IT IS EVERYTHING HE COULD HAVE WISHED FOR IN AN LOTR VERSION OF RISK. 👍🏻👍🏻

The game combines Risk with some twists for the Lord of the Rings aspect. If you are familiar with Risk this game isn't too different. Your goal is to conquer middle earth before the ring makes it to Mt Doom.Likes:Easy to understand instructions.Conquering Middle Earth.Added Lord of the Rings action cards. These cards can give you extra actions during play. They have elements and pics from the movies. For example: there's an action card called "You Shall Not Pass". If you play this card you can block the enemy from attacking your territory via bridge for one turn. A similar scene from the movie.Dislikes:Not new. Mine was received with the box really damaged. I assumed from shipping. When I opened it the card packs were opened. The instruction book was creased and bent. The cards had wear to them. A few of the plastic men were broken. I've opted to keep it used rather than try to refund. Game was fun despite its condition.Game piece quality. Overall the quality is cheap. Several of the archer pieces had broken bows. The heads on the plastic pieces don't look like heads. I thought they looked like they had dinosaur heads. The heads are wierd shaped blobs with 2 holes for eyes. The game inside the box had a weird odor.
