These new style fasteners are far better than the originals. The originals required one fastener per buttonhole, this new style covers two buttonholes with one fastener, saving both time and money.

I have no idea about the extra fasteners I bought because the machines that I purchased to use those fasteners with jammed on the first time I used it. I have always been a frequent user of buttoneerr machines and just one was junk because it jammed the first time I threw it in the trash. Enough said!

Don't be FOOLED into thinking you are getting 100 units that each contain a full complement of fasteners. You will get 10 fastener units and each single unit will contain 10 actual fasteners. So you will be getting 10 (TEN) actual refill units, not 100 refills as you may think. Truth in selling would advertise this little item as 100 fasteners, not 100 refills.(TEN units ... more than $1.00 for a unit containing 10 actual fasteners). I think this is a rip off.If you use these fasteners on a regular basis you will be reordering in no time. Unfortunately, as far as I can see there is no competitor for these AVERY Dennison fastener refill packages
