Will it work on a 12 string

I believe there is one made especially for a 12 string.

What is the max neck width?

Just measured and it is about 2 and a quarter inches. My fretboard isn't quite 2 inches so it protrudes slightly. Just make sure the shape of the neck works with the shape of the capo.
