Weber traveler grill on wheel
This is such a great grill. It is easy to move around on my lanai in Florida and also on a wood deck at my cottage on Long Island. Since I spend divided times between the two houses, the fact that this grill is on wheels and is narrow enough to move inside when I plan to be gone from one of the houses and don’t want to leave this outside while I am away is really neat. Of course if I move it inside, I disconnect the gas tank and leave that outside away from the house. It is also pretty easy to clean and you can buy drip pans to catch grease from cooking food. Personally, though it is not as big as a standard grill, I find that to be an advantage. You can easily cook for several people at the same time too. I always owned large grills, but this is so much less expensive and portable.

great grill, even if not used for travel
Bought this grill for the portability around my townhouse, including storage if needed. It's a supplement to my kitchen, as I only use this grill to cook food where I don't want it to get too smoky inside. I have it hooked up to a 20 lb propane tank with an adapter hose.Pros:- Heats up very quickly - 500 degrees in under 10-15 minutes. Fastest heat-up time in a grill I've seen. This is THE BEST feature. Relatively even heat throughout, though there are different spots. You need to learn your grill (as with any other tool) and where the hotspots are. An IR thermometer is helpful here. Some other reviewers have complained about the lack of more temperature controls, but I think this is unnecessary in a portable grill, and simplicity is usually better. A ripping hot grill is usually the best way to go. Did I mention this thing gets hot very quickly?- Large cooking area for a portable. I use a 12 x 15 inch pizza stone in this to make great pizzas.- Easy to clean, especially the enameled grates. Nothing really sticks to them. The 2-part grate halves make it easy to take inside and clean with soap and a scouring pad. 2nd best feature.Cons:- Low-profile, but this only hampers grilling something like a whole chicken (you should learn about spatchcocking). The low profile helps this grill heat up very quickly, so I actually like this.-Vents are in the back. If it's really windy and the wind is blowing into the vents, you'll have hard time maintaining temperature or possibly even the flame. Solution is just to be mindful of this and reorient your grill vents away from the wind.

Premium portable grill
Our tabletop portable propane grill made it a few seasons and gas regulator failed (no spare parts available!) affording the opportunity for an upgrade. Read many reviews on camper friendly gas grills. The fold up system of the Web Traveler and great reviews on ease of use and quality construction gets you over the price tag. Did not disappoint. Some assembly was required, but it was minimal, 10 minutes at most. The build quality is great with nothing lacking on the components. The only negative I've found is that is difficult to align the 1 lb cylinders into the bottom connection. I've started using a 1 lb to 20 lb hose to make that easier. Still need to be careful when folding the grill so that the hose is not obstructing anything on the fold up system, but it can stay attached when folded. Heat up time are quick with the smaller dome lid. I've cooked for groups of 6-8 with the Traveler, plenty of grill space. The grill grates are well made and clean up well. I bought an aftermarket griddle (half coverage) and have been pleased with that as an option. The hinged lid doesn't close all the way with the griddle plate however, so you can't put in a folded close position with the griddle in place. Glad I made the choice to upgrade.

Love this grill.
I love this grill. It is so easy to use. No charcoal or matches needed. It heats up in minutes, no waiting 20 minutes to put the food on. just push the button and in 5 minutes its ready to put on the food. I have been using it on my deck. No mess on the deck after cleaning it. Grill is heavy and easy to clean. I take the grills out and the inside of the grill wipes out very easy with a little soap and water and the pan under the grill catches any dirt or water from grilling and cleaning. The wheels are heavy duty and rolls easily to where you want to use it. Even up the steps to my deck. And it folds up very easily with the hydraulic cylinders letting it slowly go down to fold up.But I would recommend the bag over it if putting in the car and traveling as I am afraid it would easily pop open and the grills could fall out. I haven't used it anywhere but home but do plan on getting the cover for it to help hold it shut for traveling and keep it from getting scratched up.

Nice not so little Weber
I did not feel like spending the money for parts for my 20 year old Weber. I needed grate top and bottom, flavor bars ( again and again) starter box. So for the price of all that I got this grill and 5 foot conversion hose to full sized propane tank. So far have grilled chicken tenders, bratwurst, shrimp, scallops, pork tender loin chops, salmon & beef burgers. All have come out great. Mine seems slightly hotter on the right and I like that to get some burger a little more done.I tend to only grill for 2 to 6 people now, and find this perfect. Also a plus is it uses less propane than its big brother.I found it heat up well, 5 to 10 minutes depending on how much sear you want. Grates do not stick after seasoning, easy to clean. Like I can travel with a grill now.Want to get the griddle next.If you do not need big, or travel, this is a great grill and the black was a great value when on sale

Awesome grill
This is great for a compact space. My building rules require grills with the small propane canister so I was concerned that this would be wimpy but it grills great. Setup was less than five minutes, basically just putting the wheels on and placing the grates.I have used the Coleman version of this in the past for camping and the Weber is way better. Surprisingly sturdy and stable.Perfect for two but would easily accommodate food for four.
