New less effective formula was sent instead.I've been using the Equiderma zinc oxide paste for several years for my horse who suffered from photosensitization in 2020. He lost all the hair on his nose and sunburns easily. The original formula, was a very thick paste that I could put on in a thick layer and would stay on all day. This is a light whipped formula that only provides a thin layer that wears off quickly as he is doing horse things. I have to double up with a fly mask with a nose guard, which he hates. The old formula had 5% Chlorhexidine Gluconate while this one only has 0.1%. The previous version has .00125% of the second ingredient vs .000625% in this one. This one also has 34.4% water vs 29.4% water in the old. So they swapped out 5% healing power for 5% inactive water. Everything else is the same, but the massive decrease in the best healing ingredients and the fact that it is no longer a thick paste makes it a waste of money. I'm highly disappointed in change and will have to find another product.
