Acquired taste but I love it.
Discovered chinotto thanks to a local Italian restaurant. It was just like the Kinny I used to drink in Malta when we went there for family holidays. Recently went to Italy and it was everywhere, it became my default drink. The bitterness is offset by some sweetness. If you don’t like sweet drinks, this is for you but I accept not everyone will like it at first. Best served very cold with ice and a slice of orange.

Very unique bitter soft drink
I was recommended this by an Italian colleague of mine, who mentioned this was her go to drink back in Italy. I took a bit of a gamble with the 24pack and price, and was pleasantly surprised. It has a unique bitter aromatic citrus flavour, that goes great on ice. I haven’t tried mixing it with any alcohol, but this most definitely would go well in a cocktail. But I can tell it’s would be like marmite for a lot of people, love it or hate it. If you have a varied palette or like bitter drinks, I’d recommend. If you only have a sweet tooth, maybe avoid.

Real Chinotto, the Sicilian original
This is the genuine article, real Chinotto, real Italian. This is anecdotally the rarest flavour in the UK, so it's probably not a surprise that these are genuine Italian cans, wholly made for the domestic market over there and not reformulated for foreign taste preferences. This an experience akin to drinking real Coke from the USA, not the European imitation.

Very Good and A Welcome Change
I found this drink on holiday in Florence and wanted to get some for myself now I am back home in the UK. This make was selected on price and reputation but on receipt I discovered that this flavour/version does not include quinine flavouring as did the one in Florence. Despite that I soon warmed to this slightly different flavour and would recommend it as a cool refreshing drink. Amazon do sell the one with quinine flavouring too but it is more expensive. Try both and decide.

It has a bitter taste and will divide opinions.
It has a bitter taste and will divide opinions. Just like marmite, you will either love it or hate it. I'd never had anything like it before, very unusual. It makes a change from all the sugary sweet sodas. The fact I had to buy a case of 24 cans made it a gamble that most people are not prepared to make as it makes it expensive for something you may not like.

Refreshing drink with a unique flavour
Very definitely a grown up soda. Dry, aromatic citrus flavours reminiscent of a campari, chino is one to be savoured rather than gulped. Perfect with ice and a twist of orange peel or a slice of lime.
