Great Adapter
Like another adapter from a different vendor, this one also worked flawlessly. It was easy to use and impossible to make a mistake when connecting it! :-)

Blends the old and new equipment.
New computers and monitors have the Diplay Port--the rectangle with a corner cut off. Old comps/monitors have the avg's. I have an old monitor with an add on/connected soundbar, don't need a new one. This piece saved the expense of the monitor: so i have my old monitor with a new computer.

Full 1920 x 1080 Easily damaged.
This gives you 1080p no problem. They are delicate though. I had one for 3 days. Worked great until I disconnected it with the PC Power still on. When I reconnected it it was dead. If your going to disconnect it shutdown the PC first. Also I suggest you install it when the PC is shutdown. If you heavily reliant on this connection keep a spare around. At 6 or 7 bucks each it is a good investment.
