Quality and excellent description

I loved my mini sized Brother scanner but one day I bumped it and it fell from the desk onto a hard floor and it died and never revived, so I bought a case for my new one. I have been way more careful and have never dropped the new one but it does protect it from getting dusty or in any way getting marred by contact with other things. It would protect it well in your brief case for example but I cannot say it would prevent it from shattering if it fell any distance as in from a desk as it is not lined with foam or anything that could really prevent it from experiencing a hard knock if it fell but it does remind me to be careful. So from that viewpoint, it is useful. I did not grade tech support as who needs tech support on a zipper case and have never used tech support but I had to grade it in order to submit my review. My only comment is it would be better if it had a layer of foam that it would snuggle into so it would have more protect from impact if it fell.

I purchased this at the same time as my Brother mobile scanner to protect it when I'm transporting my scanner or just storing it. It fits snugly. The lid part has a mesh pocket for the included cable. I need an additional adapter to use the scanner with my MacBook but it will not fit in the case. Case appears to be well made and sturdy.

I bought a "refurbished" one. Cannot tell its been used. Took some getting use to, to load because there is no tray. But it works great
