Big Horn 19693 1/2" Router Collet Replaces Hitachi 325-199, 323-421, Dewalt 326286-03, Bosch 2610906284

Looks like a stock dewalt chuck, fits like a dewalt chuck and works like a dewalt chuck. I'm not sure where these end up but they missing from time to time. For just a few bucks this works exactly as it should for less money than the stock 1/2 chuck. I bought one to test, but now I'll get a few more.

I "misplaced" the 1/2" collet for my Craftsman Router [Model 320.17543]; the router (from 10 years ago) that came with a fixed-based AND a plunge-base. Thought I'd try this collet; and glad that I did. It works great! Fits the treads of the router, and holds tight to the 1/2 bits I've tried! Definitely worth the $17 I spent.

works just fine in allowing me to mount 1/2 shank bits on my 1/2" drive DeWalt router. I don't doubt it would fine on other router brands as well.

I found a router at a yard sale and it did not have this 1/2 collet. This collet fits like an OEM product. Very satisfied.

This router collet claims to be compatible with the m12vc Hitachi Metabo router part number 323-421. I tried every way possible to get my 1/2 inch bit not to wobble and have a consistent run out. When I went to the Hitachi authorized dealer the collet that they had on the router in stock worked perfectly and would tighten up and not wobble like the one I purchased here. This big horn item is somehow incorrectly manufactured where it will not tightened down adequately and allow the bit to be firmly and squarely install.

I liked the idea that it's half the price of Dewalt. No real vibration. No more than normal. Didn't loosen.
