UltraCruzEquine Vitamin B-1 Supplement for Horses, 2.5 lb Pellet

I actually used this for goats. I had a younger goat who was having some anemia issues as some goats do now and then. I was using B injections, but that just gets to be too much sometimes and stressful for them and me. I had eyed this feed before and am glad I pulled the trigger and bought it. I gave the little girl about a half a scoop everyday for a week or two. She went from not having the energy to keep up with the herd, always being last, to running right along with them. She is doing so well now. I still give her some now and then as treat. I wish I had bought this years earlier. I good way to boost up their B on occasions without poking them all the time.The bag has a great closure too! It is better then a ziplock, it is like this velcro-y kind of sealing system. Super easy for me to close and really keeps the food fresh. Color me impressed!I would recommend this feed. It is exactly what we needed!

Our alpacas are more aggressive trying to push each other aside to eat these pellets, compared to the SmartPak B1 pellets. Maybe it's the apple flavor. It's about the same price as the SmartPak pellets when the concentration of thiamine per serving is taken into account (SmartPak B1 is 4x more concentrated and 4x more expensive). Alpacas can easily get thiamine deficiency induced polioencephalomalacia (PEM) so I let the neighbors feed the alpacas these pellets across the fence as an occasional treat. It's nice that these are also available in 20 lb bags.

Love this! Since my TB mare has been on this she has calmed down dramatically. She has also put on a lot of muscle mass! Can tell a huge difference in her for the better!!! Also has a great price compared to other B1 vitamin products I have looked at. Just ordered my 3rd bag.

I tried this product and is expecting my horse to be, but it had the exact opposite effect on him.
