I mounted my train on a board I wanted trees to make the layout look more real. These worked great.

Be aware of sizing
I bought this item for my daughter's school project and did not pay attention to the dimensions/sizing and it's actually REALLY small. I imagined that they might be a little larger than the size of an eraser top (for the little color-flower-bushes). We're still going to make it work but they are super tiny.
