Looks great and fit well
I used these to replace my hard bags, it took about 45 minutes to install and they look great on my Suzuki cruiser

nice bags for the price
The lid tie downs are a disappointment. The tails on the pho leather buckle straps are free to curl. The tie down clip is attached to the bag which I do like. You can use one hand to clip in the strap to close the bag. You do need to make sure the top is properly closed or it will catch on the front bike side corner. However once closed properly this "problem" will make the bag all the more water resistantWILL these BAGS FIT YOUR BIKEFor an R18 these are about half the size of the "stock" R18 saddle bags so may look a bit weird. Don't look too bad on a R1200R.If you look on the forth and last photo of the amazon description you will see how the bags are held together and the adjustment. I used 1/4" bolts and fender washers to hold the bags together at the last hole. This makes for a spread of 20inches but that is with the adjusting bands absolutely flat like a board for a rear seat or fender rack. there is 2-1/2inches between holes on EACH bag strap so each adjustment is 5 inches, 2-1/2 each bag strap. so a total of 15 inches adjustment IF you use bolts as I did to use the last holes only. I imagine you could go even wider if you used cordage of some sort to "tie" the bags across the gap. but then there would be an air gap between bag straps.the bags look very nice for the price. they will melt if they touch the exhaust. I think they are probably pretty water tight or water resistant. I live in Arizona so the water thing is not a problem I worry about. Nice bags for the price

Great saddlebags
I love this saddlebags and how well it is designed. I was quite spectacle at first since I was ordering online and had an issue with some other saddlebags from other retailers. Upon receiving the saddlebags I was extremely impressed with the quality and the workmanship. Not only was it easy to install it fit perfect on my 04 Yamaha V star 650. The size, width and depth is absolutely what I need. Not to much nor to little just right for me. I love it and recommend for anyone who doesn't carry much.

Better use something other than whats provided!!!!
Was a good product for about a 2 weeks and then the nylon cord that was provided with purchase was to slick to hold together and slipped apart while going down the highway and caught my tire. I then lost approx. $120 worth of tools because of the cord that was provided.

Great bags for the buck!
This is real good looking set of saddle bags for a very good price. Bags are large enough to hold files, books, small groceries, and more. Prompt delivery by Amazon.

As I hoped for
Easy to install, decent size for the bike, buckles/clips function as they should. Bike is a 2005 Vstar 1100I'd say the only bad thing, the inside metal framework of the bags is very sharp. Covered it with some wide silver tape often wrongly referred to as duck. Doesn't change the appearance or functionality, just don't need fingers sliced open trying to grab your stuff.
