This rice cooker has more features and functions than most cars I have owned. Consistent and reliable cooking, built extremely well. The design is really decent but I wish the buttons and status had more to distinguish them. Keeps rice warm and has even more settings to control how long and how warm. I have only skimmed the surface of what this rice cooker is capable of.

This is an outstanding rice cooker. Seriously exceeded all of my expectations. I have cooked both long and short grained white and brown ice with outstanding results. Make sure you follow the instructions: amount of uncooked rice to the markings on the cooker inner pot and you can't go wrong. Don't try adding your water to the amount from a measuring cup like you are used to doing. The cooker uses steam which is different from the standard measure of one cup rice to two cups water. I think that paying that much for a cooker is kind of an investment in raising your cooking skills.In addition to rice I have steamed veggies. These need to be timed separate from the rice if you are cooking both at once. I just use the estimated time from the rice chart and the estimated time to cook the veggies and open the lid at the appropriate time to add the veggies in the steaming tray.I don't think you will regret this purchase.

The good news is the most important part. This cooker makes very good rice. It made good basmati which I have been struggling with for some time. I was particularly impressed with the steaming function. When we take moo shu pancakes home it's difficult to get them back to their original softness. I have been unsuccessfully using a bamboo steamer for this. The pancake comes out either too hard or it falls apart. This cooker restores them to their original condition or better. The problem I have may be due to me and not the construction of the product. A code may come on the screen, i. e. "E6", and the instruction booklet doesn't tell me what this means. Also, I have been unable to set the cooker to begin at a later time. This may be because I'm a tech illiterate senior and not because of the design. When the instructions say hold a button for 2 seconds please do this. The previous rice cooker I had needed to be monitored and it was difficult to clean; the rice stuck. This cooker is fast, faster than the instructions indicate, and it is very easy to clean. It's more expensive than my original cooker but I think it is worth the money.

Love this rice cooker does a lot of different food and dinners the family likes it. It's a 10 great product!!!! If they go on sale I'd like to know to get my family member one for Christmas🌲

I very much like this rice cooker and that there are not any aluminum parts in the cooking areas. Everything is very easy to clean by hand washing. I wish the cord was about 8 inches or so longer as while cooking steam comes out of the steam port which can damage my upper cabinets if I forget to turn the cooker with the steam port on the farthest edge of my counter which is a bit dangerous having it so close to the edge.The cooking pot having handles for easy removal is a plus. I haven’t used the steamer basket yet but it’s nice that one is included.The users manual that came with the rice cooker is awesome and very detailed including a few recipes.So far I have made long grain rice daily since it arrived and steel cut oatmeal in the cooker. I had to adjust the amount of water a bit to obtain the desired consistency.The rice cooker arrived as expected. There was a slight issue with the arrival definitely not the sellers fault. The deliver person didn’t walk to our front door initially. She parked in the driveway and we caught her just as she was preparing to throw the parcel containing the cooker over the driveway gate onto the concrete driveway.We got her attention and requested she bring it to our front porch and door per our written instructions. She obeyed.On unpacking there was minimal packing around the rice cooker to prevent damage as could happen with a parcel thrown over a gate onto concrete.
