Unroast coffee beans rule. Ok?
I read these beans are the best. But I am trying a different sort so that I can have decaf. I can't find/see that Brown Bear do unroasted decaf beans {?}

Good idea but..
Good idea and a different experience if you want to roast your own beans for coffee but i did not like the taste once used as coffee drink.

Could be a new experience for your foodie friends?
I'd not tried raw green coffee beans before I spotted these and thought I'd give them a go. I was dismayed at first to find that coffee bean roasting devices are available - at a price. I really didn't want to buy one as I felt it may get little use.If this is you too, take a look around the internet - you don't need to invest in specialist kit to roast your own coffee beans. You could try a stout frying pan that's not the non-stick variety as I did or a heavy bottomed wok - and I daresay other methods are possible too.For a first attempt, it worked out okay - though I may have over-roasted them a little. The beans come in a resealable pack. Practice makes perfect I guess. I very much like the idea of the beans being ultra fresh. Brown Bear donates 5% of its sales to saving bears too.These unroasted raw coffee beans would make a good gift for foodie friends - especially ones who've not tried roasting their own beans before. Just check they own a grinder first. It's fun to find out 'how to'. And perhaps they'll invite you round for a cup of freshly roasted coffee.

Super fresh and fully flavoured.
We have been getting unroasted beans for some time now as it allows us to drink really fresh coffee, the difference is very noticeable. Not only is it fresher but you can choose the level of roast and the house smells amazing too. This is the first time I have tried Colombia Excelso and it won’t be the last, it is delicious. When the beans are medium roasted and freshly ground the resulting coffee is so full of flavour. It has a delicious rich nutty taste with a lovely, sweet background like a mild candyfloss apple, you do have to have it black or with just a tiny bit of milk to appreciate the full taste experience.I love that this company supports bears, humans really can be horrible at times so nice to know there are good ones out there.I would get this again.

Delicious and highly satisfying
This was the first time I'd roasted green coffee beans and I'm so glad I did. Massive fulfilment in terms of the joy of roasting my own and freshness and taste satisfaction. I'm pleased they turned out well following simple Internet instructions. And the taste is exactly as described with a big exaggeration of the chocolate. The filled the house with rich nutty chocolate scent.I'll certainly get again.

Brown Bear Green Unroasted Coffee Beans for Home Roasting - Delightful Aroma and Taste
Ever so tasty without being too hard to roast which is always an important thing. They are packed well and the aroma straight from opening the bag to then roasting and drinking is a delight.The price I wouldn’t say is too high as seems to be a reasonable one for such a highly valued item. Plus at least roasting at home even if the beans have gone up in price still cheaper than buying a coffee out.
