Bought this because as a tall rider (6’3”) the stock windshield puts the wind blast right into my visor. This brings the windshield up high enough to put the wind over my head and basically eliminates the buffeting.

I am 6" tall (1m82), and my T7 has the standard seat (for now).First tests were so-so with the windshield in full up position.I cut and folded a piece of plexiglas that I bolted between the brackets and the original mount as shown on the pictures.It took a little fiddling to get it right but with this addition this works great.Pros:* Works great for highway or interstate. I can ride with my helmet open without getting too much wind - very relaxing on long stretches.* Can be adjusted down reasonably easily when going off road to ensure it does not interfere with you on very rough terrain.Cons:None.Or rather yes: esthetics. The windshield in the low position is higher and forward from its original position which kind of breaks the line of the T7 front. This could be seen as uglier and caused me to try various headlight protections to hide the effect.This was unavoidable with this kind of design and known before purchase.All in all it worked much better than I anticipated with the added plexiglas.Without, too much wind goes between the headlight and the raised shield and there is no extrado effect behind the shield, making it much more inefficient.Had they provided the buffer I made I would have given them 5 stars even if they had raised the price to $30.

Only thing I added was some extra rubber washers from the hardware store to help with vibration and keeping screws tight.From other reviews I had read before purchasing about thumb screws falling off during rides.Solved any loosening problems and wind buffeting problems resolved as well.

Description says it will hold for 12 hours. I rode for 3 hours and the top nut fell off on the freeway at its highest setting.Maybe some loctite or nylon nuts will workBrackets are nice though

It was easy to install. It made the windshield adjustable. The quality for the money was acceptable. Moving the windshield up and down quickly scratched my windshield. I’m not sure it’s the fault of the brackets since I have a aftermarket Puig, taller than stock, windshield on my T7. I experimented for over an hour try different heights of the windshield. I took it off. The brackets push the windshield forward and create a gag on bottom where wind comes in. Moving it up made it worse. It created terrible wind noise. Maybe it’s my particular helmet.

Great product. Easy to install and adds adjustability for the windshield.

Can we order just the hardware lost two set out of it?
