A reliable algae preventer that I've used for 20 years.

1st picture is after using Green To Clean twice... "garbage" then a few other things, spending a few hundred at Leslies between shock and miracle crap products and all the stuff they were telling me i should try along with 6-10 lbs of shock at a time. It never got me anywhere.Then i found this stuff , I used 6 lbs of shock, and a whole bottle of this stuff, ran the filter 24 hours and boom. From neon greem to an aqua. Im going to add a few more Oz and 2 lbs of shock. Run it overnight and see if were in the clear.

This provides a decent insurance policy in case your chlorine levels drop too low. Also, most of us have to use a lot of CYA chlorine stabilizer, which requires pretty high chlorine levels to avoid algae. I think I get by with a slightly lower chlorine level, which I prefer, when I supplement with polyquat 60.

This really works well. After I started using this, my water stays clear of Algae. I had issues with green and mustard algae and this really cleared up the pool without any staining in my vinyl liner.
