Is good.
The future is now! Many electricities go in, less electricities come out. How does it work? No one knows. But seriously, it’s very high quality construction, with excellent instructions for multiple voltage outputs. Funny thing is, we only needed the transformer but buying this entire assembly was less expensive than any sources carrying the transformer alone. 10/10 would transform again. 👍

Works fine.
Works good lit up my crystal logic light from Hayward. 100 watts is more than enough. Set it for 14 volts the light is about 65 feet away from transformer.hayward sells a 300 Watt transformer thats for 4 pool lights 75 Watts each. Over kill unless you are wiring up 4 lights.

We have a photo cell that controls our outdoor lights, so I wanted a supply that was just a transformer like this. Apparently, this supply is designed for use in a pool area where floating outputs are required? I didn't need that, but maybe it makes it safer? I'm not sure. It has three different taps from the transformer that allow you to select one of three voltages. I picked the 12 volt tap. I think the other taps are designed to provide higher voltage if you have long runs. We have a short run of about 15 feet with 14 gauge cable that supplies four path lights. 12 volts worked fine. The construction of the case is very solid and it was easy to hang in a secure way. The product seemed to have been built for a non American market. The instructions were strange. As I recall they instructed that the wires be connected in a way that would be unusual for the US. I just used wired nuts and they worked fine. The wire colors were not standard for the US, however the wires were well marked and I didn't see that as a problem. Amazon sold several products that looked very similar to this one. I don't remember why I chose this one. I don't know if it is better or worse than the other similar products.

So far so good.
I had a very old transformer for my pool light. As we are remodeling our pool and replacing the light, I thought it made sense to update the transformer which buzzed loudly whenever it was on. This transformer was very easy to install. At first, I thought it wasn't working as my voltage detector wasn't showing any power coming out - until I realized that my voltage detector was looking for a minimum of 100v. Once I switched that to minimum of 12v, it lit up. Put the new light in the socket and it worked. I wired a switch into the line before the transformer to easily turn the light on and off. Very happy with purchase and hope that it works for a good amount of time. Another plus - this transformer didn't make a sound. It was completely silent. Not sure if that will change over time.

Easy to install!
I had a 20+ pool light transformer which stepped down the electricity from 120 to 12v. It took me about 15 min to replace with this one. I also replaced the pool bulb to an led. Originally, I had the control on a dimmer and couldn’t figure out why the pool light wouldn’t work. I measured the current and it was only pulling 10v. Replaced the dimmer with a regular switch and boom, 12v.The new pool LED lights have a built in dimmer on remote and may need the full 12v. The old pool lights don’t. This is just a helpful hint. This transformer worked great!
