My favorite beanie
I keep my head shaved and these are a lifesaver. Soft, comfortable and warm. I've bought 4 of them so far. They tend to keep their shape and stay tight unless you sleep in them. Washing (cold/gentle) and drying (I just use the dryer) tends to fix any stretching. Watch for oil build-up on the inside. This can lead to polymerization (hardening) of the oil if you dry it in the dryer. Applying some dish soap to the area and gently washing before putting in the wash cleans this well.

Perfect hat. Finally.
This may sound silly, but I can honestly say that this is the best hat I've ever bought. Let me explain: I grew up in Michigan, lived in Colorado, and have always been a backcountry type. In Colorado that meant backcountry skiing, which remains the most challenging physical thing I've attempted (sleeping at 12,500' in a snow cave at -19ºF in January on the continental divide is enough for me... I don't need to climb taller mountains). In all my years, I searched for a thin, knit, 100% wool cap with a true 'cuff' (or whatever it's called when it's on your head). I could never find it until this cap. This cap is perfection in my eyes. Long enough to cover your ears in double thickness, or pull down completely in high winds. The perfect thickness (thin but not capilene thin) for layering or beating it uphill with a pack on. Completely adjustable and changeable. Lightweight. Simple. Authentic. My only request is for some sort of subtle stripe or design, but that's just vanity. Yeah, forget that request... it's better unadorned.FWIW, my head is size 7-3/8" and the hat fits perfectly. It stretches without effort (it's woven that way) so it will perfectly fit a good range larger and smaller. And speaking of the knit... this is incredibly good quality – unbelievable for the price, actually. The yarn is more like a thread, and the weave is so tight it doesn't seem woven at all. There is no sense of itchiness in the least – no protruding fibers... tight.Perfect hat. Finally.EDIT: One thing I might add is that this is a hat best for outdoor activities, with the emphasis on activity. Walking, working in the yard, hiking, camping, running, back-country skiing – anything that gets your heart pumping. It's not so good on its own for sedentary things like watching a game, hunting, and yes even downhill skiing (which is mostly sedentary). In those situations it's best to consider it as a liner... a layer inside a ski helmet, under a hood, etc. Or switch to any number of thicker hats. It's the thin ones like this that are hard to find. I've got two and will be buying two more.

Nice quality for the price
I bought these in several colors as Christmas gifts. They arrived nicely packaged in sealed plastic, neatly folded and not wrinkled at all, looks nice as a gift. They're very soft 100% merino wool as advertised (I was skeptical for the price), not very thick so you can even wear them under a hood. Very warm considering the light weight. They seem like they would fit a variety of adult head sizes. When I received them, I liked them so much that I ordered a few more for extra gifts and one for myself. The colors are rich and beautiful!

Beat beanie ever!
Great beanie! Thin and light but super warm. Very happy with this beanie. Will only wear merino wool beanies from now on and as a bald dude, this is super important to keep my noggin warm.

once you go wool, every other material is a lose
Got the Charcoal Gray color. I have multiple beanies in different colors, but this one came more loose than the others. which why it is a 4/5 for me. I already cleaned it in warm-hot water. although it did shrink, it was not enough to give it a nice fit like my other ones. Aside from that, the quality is still good. The stretchability of this beanie makes it real comfortable. It does not squeeze my head. The design is nice and silky and it makes my overall fit look clean. The color turned out to be as expected and it holds up after a wash. Wearing this beanie inside or outside, i can feel that it is breathable. The wool material is what you want if you do not want to be sweating a lot. Don't get me wrong, you will sweat in certain heat conditions, of course, but the amount is significantly less compared to a cotton beanie. overall, 5/5 recommended. Ever since my first purchase, it is hard to go back to any other material of beanie.

Best winter hat
It's my favorite winter hat. Soft, stretchy, warm, dries quickly. Doesn't make my head itch. I have gone through a few of these hats (I seem to lose them). But I keep buying them because I wear them every single day in the winter when I walk my dog. It's the only winter hat I wear now. Sometimes I wear two of these hats when the weather is very cold (below 10 F). But one hat is good for temperatures down to 10-20 F.
