Will the hook side of the velcro grab carpet well? I have a piano pedal that keeps sliding on a carpeted floor.

Will this stick to all types of plastic?

Seems to to stick well to anything including all types of plastic.

Some posts mention that the backing is difficult to remove from the velcro tape. Is it just difficult or nearly impossible to remove?! Thanks

I haven't had any issues. I removed the back easily. Applied to a glass surface. Still where I stuck it. Easily replaced the factory strip. I'll replace my others with this same strip as they give out. I highly recommend these strips.
