What diameter candle will this hold?

Hi. They are made specifically for our 6in and 8in beeswax candles. The diameter of the hole is 1/4in.

Each candle holder is 2 5/8" from corner to corner and 1 1/4" high. Holders for the slim candles are kind of scarce, so I was tickled to find these. But just so you know - in case it makes a difference - the hole that the candle sets in is rather shallow - unless they have corrected that problem by now.
