Melted in a glass bowl and it was placed in dishwasher (wiped out first) and now my drains and whole house has overwhelming smell. Ideas to clear it?

Wow, I was very careful to "contain" the menthol solution to a small container, wipe carefully and never ever put anything that touched the menthol in the dishwasher, let alone pour down a drain. I am so sorry for your dilemma, but it is likely everywhere. How about running your dishwasher a few times with just soap and no dishes. Flush your your drains with lots of soapy water, USE DAWN.) (hate wasting water) but basically menthol is a product of mint oil. Water alone will not remove the residue, I am thinking. Hope some of this works. Blessings.

How would I make it liquid to add to a roller with menthol and eucalyptus? Also how much should I use?

Warm it up. Try putting the container in a glass of warm water. And understand that it will solidify again when it reaches room temperature again.

How warm does this need to be to be liquid. would it work in a cpap diffuser?

I place 2-3 drops of liquid eucalyptus in lieu of menthol in the water reservoir of my cpap nightly. I also put 1-2 drops in saline nasal spray (1oz squeeze bottle) for use as needed. I am unable to advise regarding liquification of menthol.

Very good (and potent!) product

The crystals and the jar they're packed in arrived in perfect condition (not pre-melted as some people have remarked), and the scent is very potent. I put just two or three menthol shards in my fragrance/wax warmer and run the warmer for just a couple of minutes at a time, undiluted. The resulting scent is clean. Just a couple of shards last for a few days in the warmer. Later I may try diluting them with some oil, because the scent is powerful!

Good alternative to regular toothpaste

Due to a high sentitivity to many ingredients in just about all paste toothpaste I have been on a search for a good alternative. I like this mineral powder however it is a bit grainy and takes a while to get used to it. I do feel my teeth are cleaner using this powdered toothpaste.

They’re like little ice crystals

I’ve used the Menthol Crystals in my candle, my homemade vapor rub and my shower steamers and I like working with them. They’re like little ice crystals, melt easily in wax, in my vapor rub and I even crushed them up and used them in my shower steamers. They’re very strong so a little goes a long way.I’m very pleased with these Menthol Crystals and will be buying more in future.

These are amazing for shower steamers and other DIY

I have had the same jar for about a year now. I use them to make my own menthol shower steamers. A little bit goes a really long way. I have also added them to steaming water that I put my face over to inhale the menthol steam and clear my sinuses. It works amazing. Just drop in half a crystal to boiling water that’s been poured into a bowl. Definitely recommend.When I make my shower steamers, I have a mortar and pestle that I specifically use for only crushing menthol because ingesting menthol is toxic and I don’t want to risk trace amounts getting into any of my herbs. I also strongly recommend wearing gloves if you will be handling the menthol by hand for products like shower steamers.I would also advise to be careful with menthol crystals and the products you make around pets, children and people with sensitive skin.
