Great Gauges & Pump
Shipping Was Fast, Arrived early, Good quality gauges, solid pump for the price. At under 200$ this is a great deal for what you get. Love that it comes with a hard case for the gauges and a soft bag for the pump, which also hold the gauges in. It also fits my compressed air cleaner for AC lines which is a definite plus. As for performance, They work as intended! Pulls strong vacuum, recharges & measures as made. Cant ask for more.

Chinese directions...duhhhh
I'm starting my review now even though I haven't evacuated my ac yet..couldn't based on the Chinese directions. Note: read the provided directions for a laugh then get on u tube to see the correct way its done.,but, still be alert, one set of directions said to make sure the car is not running with the ac off while charging the system....wrong....the engine and ac have to run to pull the freon into the system.According to China town directions I could not pull a vacuum. The end of the hose that has the slight bend have to be hooked up to the gaugesLook inside the hose - the Schrader valve is inside the end of the hoses with the bend. I saw in one video that the demonstrator had the curved end attatched to the pump on a different kind of pump,so maybe those hoses were different. Some reviews said the nylon seals were breaking and inefficient....I ordered and replaced with rubber seals just to be safe.Good luck and use some savvy knowledge skills. The pump though is "very" quiet and all equipment in the kit looks sturdy.Update: I vacuumed the ac..it worked without flaw.Keep checking on the brass hose connections--even with the new rubber seals, the low side connection did loosen with the vibration.

FAULTY PRODUCT & USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE
The self-sealing can tap in my kit was faulty. Not only would it not allow coolant to flow from the can into my van’s A/C system, it would break the self-sealing mechanism in the can, and the gas would spray out of the can after removing the tap. I thought that I might have a faulty can, but I tried using it on three cans, and got the same result every time.I contacted their “customer service” department, and described the problem in very clear detail. They wrote back requesting pictures and screenshots and purchase details, all of which I provided, and they said they would send a new self-sealing can tap.….but they sent me a puncture style can tap instead. I wrote them back to tell them that they had sent the wrong tap, I included pictures of the incorrect item that was sent, and asked them to please send the correct item. They responded by telling me that they had sent a puncture tap, AND a self-sealing can tap, and told me to double check the parcel. Basically, their response to their own error was to accuse me of being an idiot.I wrote them back again to tell them that the parcel was just a small bubble wrap envelope, and the only thing inside it was the wrong tap, and I once again asked them to please send the correct one. They wrote back waffling about some possible error in their warehouse, and told me to send pictures of the item I had received (which I had already done), so they could determine what error had occurred, and what type of solution they could offer…..THE SOLUTION IS REPLACING THE FAULTY PART LIKE I ASKED YOU TO DO FIVE EMAILS AGO!!!Prior to receiving their last email, I decided that their customer service department was useless, so I just went out to buy another self-sealing can tap at Harbor Freight. That tap worked just fine, proving that the fault did in fact lie with the tap that had been included with the kit.I initially thought that the price on this kit was a good deal, but after it caused me to waste $30 on coolant (not to mention making me release toxic chemicals into the environment), and another $8 on a new tap which their customer service department failed to replace, it turned out not to be such a good deal after all.WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN!
