The 10mm x 10mm works very well in a ring. The one I received has lovely color, no visible flaws but, under the loupe, a barely visible imperfection on one of the girdle edges. I will have no reservations in using this stone. Set in white gold, framed with small diamonds, this is a knockout piece.

the stone looks well cut but a small chip appeared sometime before it got to me. Not unusable though. Color is also more lavender than the violet blue in the photo

Absolutely beautiful at an amazing price. As a jewelry maker, I was hesitant, but figured that I would try to purchase one anyway. I am so glad that I did! I was shocked and in awe when I opened the package and could not believe how incredibly beautiful it is. Shipping took a bit, but was worth the wait!

Tested with a Presidium II. It tested as glass. I ripped into both Amazon and the seller. However, I just retested the stone prior to returning it and now it is testing as 10 a night. I apologize for my mistake.
