It's machine washable but they don't sell covers separately

Q: Does this work even if you're plus sized?

Yes, this will work if you're plus sized. I am plus sized and this pillow helped a lot with my pregnancy taking the pressure off my back and feet while trying to relax or sleep.

Q: I am 5'2" tall, side sleeper, with short neck, legs, and arms. many standard pillows are too "full" or large. ok for short person? thx

I'm 5'3 and I absolutely loved this pillow when pregnant. It was probably my favorite pregnancy purchase. It was full enough and long enough to comfortably wrap around my body and tuck between my knees and legs and I could rest my belly on it too without it being too full or tall to be uncomfortable.

Q: Is this pillow treated with flame retardants?

From the Boppy website: “We take great care in the quality of our products. The fabric and filling in the Boppy® Feeding and Infant Support pillow (and slipcovers for those pillows) are exempt from California Bureau of Home Furnishings flammability standards and have never contained harmful flame retardant chemicals. The Boppy® Pillow is filled with virgin polyester fiberfill and is upholstered in white fabric that is 90% polyester and 10% cotton. What the Boppy Pillow wears on the outside is up to you! Its wardrobe consists of slipcovers made from soft cotton blends, to minky plush or organic cotton. NOTE: You may see a tag on Boppy Feeding & Infant Support Pillows and Boppy Slipcovers stating that this product meets the “flammability requirements of California Bureau of Home Furnishing Technical Bulletin 117. Care should be exercised near open flame or with burning cigarettes.” As we noted previously, we meet these requirements WITHOUT the use of flame retardants. The note on this tag does NOT necessarily mean flame retardant chemicals have been added to the product.”
