Not as pictured
The books are great however the advertisement shows pens that are colorful. The first set I ordered they were clear pens. They would not unscrew. Being clear they are almost impossible to locate because they are clear. The video shows they are yellow. These are cheap but they do work. I would not buy again as I’ve lost 2 pens already because they have no color to draw the eye.lol

Pens are useless
I have purchased several paint with water books from different companies. These books seem to be good quality and I like the size of them. They are compact, flat and easy to store. The reason for the 3 stars is regarding the pens. They are useless. When I had read reviews that people were having trouble filling them, I had no idea it was because they couldn’t be opened. I tried everyone of the pens and had no luck. I also was not happy with the small cap on these pens because they are a chocking hazard for toddlers, and I have a 2.5 year old who loves to paint with water. Yes, I do realize it says for 3+ years, with a chocking warning. I’m keeping these books only because I have several water pens from other sets that are safe and useable.

Perfect for entertaining little ones
My grandson got some of these at age two and adored them- still does at age three and I imagine we will still have another year of enjoyment with them. The “painting” with water isn’t too messy, is easy to take along to restaurants, etc., and gives him something creative to do when he is winding down at the end of the day.

Amazing Activity for Toddlers!
The media could not be loaded. My 2 year old LOVES these. He had received another brand for his birthday that came with a paint brush but he actually prefers these because of the markers. I love that I can fill up the markers and let him color wherever he wants because there’s no risk of ruining the couch or the floor. 😂 He can also use them in the car.

This was the perfect gift for my grandson! He loves them. They are easy to use and mess free!
