Really love this. Closed up all the gaps I needed. Definitely reduced sounds, the adhesive is tough, and it's easy to install.

It does the job. It is a very fast adhesive. Place it exactly where you want it or you are going to remove the weather stripping and your paint just trying to readjust. Also make sure you measure correctly. My door frame is crooked so the size I bought only fit part of it.It will keep out the cold, heat and the large bugs that want to become a part of your life.

Recently moved into a micro studio with a fairly large gap both below the door and on the side of the door below the door knob. The gap on the side of the door was like a triangle-ish shape but fairly long/tall, like probably 2 to 3 ft tall, and it went from the floor right up almost to the bolt of the door, like the square metal part that goes into the frame when you are shutting the door or locking/unlocking it.So I bought this weatherstripping to fill in that gap on the side of the door, both to keep out bugs and to keep my air conditioning in my apartment. It does both of those things very well.I don't know if I would say it looks pretty or anything. I bought it for practical purposes, so I couldn't care less how it looks. It works good and it sticks to the door. I haven't seen any bugs come in from that area yet since I put that and the sweeper on, And my apartment is a good 15-20° plus cooler than the rest of the building. The cold kinda hits you in the face when you come in to my apartment.

These work to seal and sound proof, BUT the sides have so much sticky residue, that it made the door stick to the edge and made it very difficult to open the door every time. If the sticky was just on the back and more in the center so it wasn’t on the edges then it would get a better review from me. Ultimately had to take it off because I had to unpeel the door everytime I opened it.

Purchase this product due to my tunnel cover from my pick up, not coming with weatherstripping(was purchased second hand) so I stumbled across this product and so far has been doing a good job was easy to install has good adhesion functions how supposed to I thought the adhesive with the strings in it we’re going to be a challenge to cut to length but surprisingly I had no issues. Only thing I wish I would’ve done different was the thickness better again it was my first time purchasing this product, so wasn’t sure how thick it would be but it’s doing it job at the moment. It’s just a personal preference I guess but other than that product is good. Would be using these later down the road for any other.

I used this under angle iron I installed on my pickup side rails so it doesn’t scratch the paint and secured it with j bolts so I can take in on and off for when it need it.
