Grippy
These work so well. The gripped on to the worst ice this winter, and fit on even my huge, lug sole winter boots. I bought a second pair, and recommended them to lots of friends. They don't "look" the greatest, but they sure do work and keep you safer.

Great quality, worked fantastic on ice
Great quality, worked fantastic on ice during a hike in the White Mountains, NH recently. Easy to place over hiking shoes, great grip on ice, rock and a combination thereof

Does it’s job well enough, i bought a second pair.
I live where it is often cold 6 months out of the year. Combined that with often heavy snow falls. Plus a weather system that can have it well into the -40s one day, then well into the high teens the next, and it can only be imagined how much ice we see each year.I find these much easier to get on, compared to a different set i had. I generally walk quickly, combined with my visual impairment, and it has led to many a fall on ice patches. With these cleats, I feel a lot more confident walking with my dogs closer to my normal speed. Even when the cleats are wet from going through a puddle, they still retain traction on ice.I have not yet used the additional Velcro straps, as I haven’t found it necessary yet. The carry bag, seems to be high-quality, and is an awesome extra. So that I don’t need to carry around a plastic bag, like I had to with my previous set.So far I have liked this set enough to recommend them to a friend. My friend, who is also blind, injured them self falling on ice. This prompted me to quickly order a pair for my friend, and I hope they find them as useful as I have.My only complaints about them at this point. I have been using them on my runners, since there is a lot of ice, but not a lot of snow. I have noticed that the cleats slide down my shoes, and this leads to them being loose on the bottom of my foot. I definitely ordered the right size, for the shoe size I wear. So I wonder if they will stay further up on boots, compared to my runners. Even with them slipping slightly, they have not come off, and have not caused me any issues while walking.

Good traction, well made
I broke my second pair of Yak Trax a month ago when hiking on a snow-packed/ice trail. I like the Yak Trax but when stretched out on my shoe there is a lot of tension on these thin parts of the Trax.I bought these Ice Cleats as a replacement for the Yak Trax. The metal studs on the bottom are not as big nor cover as much of the bottom of my foot as the Yak Trax.Yesterday, we had an ice storm and the sidewalks were like glass. I took a walk using these Ice Cleats and they worked great. I had some hills to climb. No slipping. They gripped well. The rubber is thick and durable. They give you 4 replacement cleats so I suspect it is possible for them to break but on my 2-plus mile walk yesterday, no cleats broke.Plus they are less expensive than the Yak Trax.I am pleased with them.
